Its the most overpowered racial by far and everyone knows it, why wasnt it nerfed ahead of tbc to balance faction pop?

It is overpowered, yes. But like all racial, it is usefull when you can use it (ie : when you are fear). Not all arena team can fear. Alliance still have very good racial in TBC. What I mean by that is the racial you have (Undead or Dwarf or whatever) is not really relevant, what is relevant is which comp you face to see if their racial counter you (if you fight vs Undead and your team can’t fear, who care ?). There’s no best race for all situation, it is only dependent on the team you face, but often people tend to go Horde for TBC arena. I would sometime trade my WOTF for the Gnome anti-root as a Warrior, because I already have an anti-fear that can be used in Berseker stance, and sometime I play with Shaman that have tremor totem. You see, everything is relative to your class and what you face …
WOTF is not nerfed untill WOTLK where WOTF share a cooldown with PvP trinket.
Dwarf Priest, Dwarf Hunter, Human Rogue, Night Elf Druid, and Gnome Warrior, are the best Alliance pick.
Undead Mage/Rogue/Priest and Orc Hunter/Warrior/Shaman and Tauren Druid/Warrior/Shaman are the best Horde pick. I would love to play an Undead Hunter by the way

It’s too late to balance factions and of course man, racials are all on pvp and make a big difference, but u can’t change anything becouse we are playing a classic game.

Those rogue+mage teams are sooooo beaten by WOTF and never have issues against humans with perception of dwarves with stone form!
Yeah dude i have real problems against wotf as a R/M player. Human rogue and dwarf priest DO NOT absolutely hardcounter us with their Alliance racials. Never happened. Once.

Well I too think WotF is the best racial, but that would be mostly in battlegrounds where you will get feared ever so often and can use it on its very short CD. For arena its a bit different as you get to be 100% sure a rogue is nearby etc.
Watch the undead spergs cry about humans in wotlk.

Imagine facing a matchup with no stealths. (Almost always a Warrior/Priest/Warlock that can fear tho).
Gnome racial can RESIST to cure you off the slow.
WOTF cant RESIST to cure you off the fear.
You really comparing stone form to being able to not get feared and having to trinket?

“Too late” would be the case in WotLC where Horde would have more momentum with Trolls and Orcs becoming best PvE races. Humans and NE would get their PvP buffs ofc, but we see that arena and BG only players are small fraction of the playerbase, even on PvP realms.
I play dwarves and trolls because they’re the coolest races, I don’t give a hoot about what’s currently fotm. Berserking go brrr

Man tbc is dead, don’t matters what u do, human is the most popular race, best esthetic female chars, and human male is the 1st Chad option so when everyone knows that they have op pvp racial on wolkt no one is going to care about horde, you have to remember that you have raids that you only can unlock by pvp.
Well we can’t understand everything, but if you look at the data that is available dwarf priest is a top pick for 2v2 arena, not worse than having an UD priest with WotF.
Never played dwarf but I can imagine the ability to clean poison and be immune to them and also get some extra armor has decent value.
Not that my opinion matters a lot. If you look at the 2v2 top ladder you can see Stoneform is on equal foot with WotF.
So yea.
Not only that. They get Chastise and Desperate prayer. Which are both really good abilitys on a disc priest.
Wotf by itself is stronger then Stoneform for sure, it’s just the priest racial abilities that makes dwarf shine.
I don’t think so. Desperate prayer is I think human only. If not Dwarf is indeed miles ahead of human.
Dwarf gets both Chastise and Desperate prayer.
1 single raid boss (expanded to4) on Horde dominated realm where you have no chances of taking Wintergrasp back? WoW. The only humans beside current Alliance mains like me would be Horde arena alts supported via neutral AH.
Then go nerf every many for himself when wrath comes out, let undeads shine because they will not be good at all for PVP next expansion
