If a death knight curmudgeon like yours truly can find a home with the Cursekeeper Association, so can you, dear reader of this comment.
In the past week the Cursekeeper Association was called on to follow the trail of a band of Darkspear youth that had gone missing! They followed the path the Darkspear had left in their wake, only to learn that not all was as it had first appearedā¦
The band of missing trolls had agitated the elements, causing the association quite some trouble as they had to make their way across the waters of the Thousand Needles. Having arrived on the border of Tanaris they stumbled upon a troll camp, sacked and plundered.
A great many questions were left unanswered, but the associates soon set out to Gadgetzan where they learned of the trollās odd behaviour; They had caused a commotion to distract the guards as their leader, a once-peaceful troll by the name of Henja cast a mind-subduing spell on one of the merchants in order to steal a mysterious gem. Having learned of the population suffering from nightmares and a lack of sleep, one of the members discovered a strange presence and upon investigating learned of a living creature whose presence was the very cause of such trouble.
Having regrouped, the associates set out across the wastes, following a path laid out by the elements on which they encountered signs of the Darkspear but too were they beset upon by Sandfury mummies! The trail led them to an ogre mound where they made a gruesome discovery; The ogre warlord had come into possession of a great mallet, itself the shape of a stone serpent, which had given the ogre unnatural powers and showed to him promises or an empire. This weapon would prove to be connected to the same presence that affected the denizens of Gadgetzan.
Having defeated the ogre warlord by taking the weapon from him before striking the final blow, they located the missing Darkspear; their hearts carved from their chests in a terrible ritual, together with the Sandfury that had been drawn to the power of the mallet, they now resided between life and death, their souls fuel for a power the associates did not quite understand. Any attempts to retrieve the trolls proved to be futile, but they learned of the awesome power behind the ritual and all ill that had befallen the desert of late; an evil loa slept deep beneath the sands, once sleeping but now threatening to awaken.
With the Darkspear youth lost, their mission was technically done. But there remained the danger of the unknown loa. In a final bid to learn more of this nameless loa one of the associates surrendered himself to a ritual of the mind to delve into the slumbering creatureās memory. Herein they learned that the loa was subjugated by Dark Trolls in an age long forgotten, their tribe hunting other trolls and sacrificing their hearts in trade for eternal life; for the loa possessed great influence over time, giving life to the dead in trade for the souls of their victims.
But their evil reign came to a swift end when the local trolls united, and once the loa broke free it turned upon its former slavers only to become beset upon by the loa of death in an epic clash for dominance. There, having so fleeting a taste freedom, it was slain. Its name forgotten, its temple sunk deep beneath the land, none now live to remember it. But that which holds power over time is not so easily slain. And so it stirs beneath Tanaris, still languishing in bitter dreams of demise, consumed with hatred for all of trollkind. How did the still-missing leader of the Darkspear youth, Henja, learn of its power? Will it slumber eternal or soon open its eyes, surely spelling doom for all unfortunate enough to encounter it?
The association, lacking in strength to defeat this evil forever, withdrew from Tanaris, content to let it sleep for the time being as they seek to bolster their forces and one day return to put an end to this wicked tale.

For now, the Cursekeeper Association will attend local events and recuperate. Soon, they will set out to establish a base of operations.
This is a fantastic guild with some amazing people in it, since joining Iāve been nothing but impressed. In the words of the Void, join us.
Been in the guild just for a few days now but already feeling at home here.
Pirates, ruffians and other neāer-do-wells beware! The Cursekeeper Association has descended upon the village of Rustberg in a display of their might, driving out a band of (mostly inebriated) pirates.
Although they made short work of a mysterious assassin that foolishly set upon them, the pirate vessel escaped through wreathing themselves in magical shadows, their haul consisting of a sizeable plunder of Azerite.
As word spreads of the association, they have decided to settle in Rustberg for the time being. Their presence upholds a semblance of peace in the area, yet the locals only tolerate the association for their recent show of force.

Knowing precious little of their newfound enemy, the associates will soon gather and decide on a next course of action.
Will the local cutthroats refrain from taking up arms against these ruthless intruders? What danger once found across the near-forgotten island lingers still, and what intentions had the pirates with such a load of Azerite? Come RP with us and you just may find out!
How does one find you? I am very interested!
Do you want to let your intrusive thoughts win?
Then come on in.
Hello you! Iām glad to hear of your interest!
For the foreseeable future the association will be based in Rustberg Village (which lies in Tol Barad, accessible through a portal in Stormwind/Orgrimmar). You can also contact us OOC and weāll be able to tell you all about the guild and set up a meeting.
Hope to hear from you!
Iāll see if I can catch you online. Thanks!
Landed and happy I did. Strongly recommended to come around and say Hello if you are interested!
I love this concept! Iāll try and catch you in-game, if youāre still open to new members
We are still very much open for recruitment indeed! I have a character active on both horde and alliance for communication. Tiuviel would be me on alliance, and Zayzi as horde. Which side would you prefer?
(Also, Merry Xmas! )
Alliance would work best for me! Now that Crimbus is over, Iām sure Iāll catch you in-game
Iāll be milling about on WoW tonight if any of you are around, and fancy setting up an interview
I shall make sure that Tiuviel shall be about!
Iāve been having SO MUCH fun with this lovely lot! Such a welcoming and friendly community, with lots of exciting RP. Really cannot recommend them enough!
Extremely fun bunch to hang out with. Varied, welcoming, and their interests align with ours a lot!
Had a great time hanging out with them and their pals, rounding up some Flame Druids.
Had an absolute blast in the Firelands! Things are heating up
Iāve been keeping an eye on this guild for a while, you seem to have such a strong and cool concept. Hope itās going well! :>
