New account banned out of the blue

Hello, my sister in law just started playing wow, she liked it and she bought the game and a sub. About 1 or 2 days after my brother sent her a mount and some gold as a surprise but the mail was taking too much time to reach her and he then proceeds to go to the item restoration service and her account got banned. We assume this was the reason why her account got perma banned as the system might have detected something wrong but we are not sure.
We opened tickets from our own individual accounts asking for help and all we got were either, what seemed to us automated responses or our issue not being properly addressed. I decided to come to the forums because of the lack of clarification on the issue and hopefully get some proper answers for why her account got banned out of nowhere just as we started to playing again. After this we don’t even want to play wow anymore if this is how costumers are being treated.

when you sent items to others and you are not in the same guild it take 1 hour before it arrive.
that he went to items restoration dosent get her account banned and the only way to solve this is for her to open a ticket since she should have recieved an email telling her why her account got banned.
but did he log into her account and use item restoration?

the email sent did not specify the reason for the ban. He (my brother) did not logged into her account. And as for opening a ticket from her account it’s also not possible since they completely banned her account and does not even let her enter battle.net it says this account was banned/canceled. Thats why we opened tickets from our own accounts and now here I am in the forums because this situation is so weird to us.

but what does the email say?

Unfortunately the only person who can appeal the ban is the account holder. You can’t inquire/ticket on their behalf.

I presume the person appealed and was denied? You got a response after the ban was reviewed?

We can’t discuss the specifics of disciplinary action on the forums.

no he didnt since he wrote that she couldnt login to her battle.net account and therefor have not made a ticket.

I got suspended with an older account twice ,a month apart. Nothing I did other than fish for most of the day. I think, because they won’t tell you, people reported me as a bot, Which is kind of ironic as I don’t even use any add-ons.

Anyway, I got them over-turned within hours. This was a long time ago now so the system may be different.

Using the website I entered into dialogue with them via emails. If you can still do that I’d suggest doing that.

But she should have received an email telling her the reason for the ban and a link to appeal which she can do if banned.

Hello Dolexan,

As mentioned already, I have to confirm that Forums are not the place to discuss disciplinary actions, as stated in the Forum Code of Conduct.

If your sister in law is looking into appealing the action taken on her account, se can - and should - open a ticket herself requesting said appeal, as explained in the relevant article, also linked above by Punyelf.

Please note that through forums we can not in any way review, check, or otherwise provide information about suspensions, bans or any other type of account action.
