Anyone experienced this before?
A new account I recently created got banned.
I got notified via email with the following message:-
“The Battle.net account has violated the Blizzard End User License Agreement. As a result, this Battle.net Account and all associated game accounts have been permanently closed.”
I created a support ticket for clarification, explaining that this was a new account with no games attached to it. It would have been impossible for me to have done anything warranting an account closure.
This was the reply:-
Greetings,
This action has been taken in accordance with our Terms of Use and our In-game Policies, which all players acknowledge and agree to prior to playing. These policies and conditions allow us to maintain a fun and safe game environment for all of our players.
I replied by restating that it was a brand new account with no games, and that nothing in the Terms of Use and In-game Policies could apply to me.
This was the reply:-
Regarding your appeal, your account has been permanently closed due to a direct breach of the Terms of Use.

What the … ?
Can anyone else shed some light was to what violation I might have done if I don’t have any games on the account?
