New account to play with friends

Hello! I’ve always played horde but want also want to play with my friends who are alliance…
But… Creating a new account, fine. i need a new mail and thats no problem… but why can i not use my phone number for both accounts with the authenticator?
I cannot type in the looking for group tab without it.
hope this makes sense and that someone has a solution for me. xo

A BNET account can hold up to 8 WoW licenses. You could add another wow license without creating another mail/BNET.

A phone number can only be added to a single Battle.net Account. Customer Support cannot bypass this limitation. This is probably to prevent a spammer registering on mutliple accounts.
