I am considering this, but doesnt unlocking Zandalari take ages for someone who has not played BfA?

They removed the rep requirement so it shouldn’t be too bad. These are the current requirements:

At a high level, there are 3 requirements to unlock Zandalari Trolls in WoW Shadowlands, which includes:

  1. Finishing the main storyline in all 3 Zandalar zones and 2 other story quests (using Horde character).
  2. Completing parts 1 and 2 of the Horde War Campaign.
  3. Doing the 17 recruitment quests, starting at the Orgrimmar Embassy (level 50+ character).

Thanks for the info.

While I actually enjoyed the BfA storyline, at least on the Alliance side, I feel reluctant to do another campaign after doing the “mandatory” Shadowlands ones, which I did not find enjoyable at all (even on first playthrough). Based on what I read online, it would take atleast 6 hours of gametime to unlock the Zandalari, which is to me quite a lot of time right now. Not saying Blizzard should remove the requirements, me being lazy and not having time does not mean I am complaining about the process of obtaining Allied Races in general.

As for Man’ari, they don’t need to add them as a new race, they could just add their appearance to the dhs (red skin etc), but in that case we would have to get draenei and orc dhs. Both red orcs and red draenei are under demonic influence, so they would fit in nicely as new dhs.

As for warlocks, I’ve always felt they should get some completely unique customization options, something only they would have as a class. For example spikes/bones coming out of the back (like Gul’dan), different/unique eyes, etc.

Also, I would really like to finally get the forest trolls, but not as a new race but as a customization option for the darkspear/jungle trolls.

I don’t mind at all. There are red Orcs in Outland already. And two targets are hit with one stone. More races will be DHers. What I don’t want is they to be bound to a faction I don’t play Alliance and never will.

Kul Thiccccccc’s are Vikings aswell.
Legit their entire lore is based on vikings

I unlocked Kul Thicc today, which is basicly the same steps just alliance side.
Took me about 3 days (± 12hrs). Not that long if you ask me.
It’s a blessing you only have to do the first 2 patches off the War Campaign…

Unlocking Kul Tirans would be easier for me, since I did most of the zone quests while leveling :stuck_out_tongue: But have not touched the Horde part, so would have to do it from scratch. Will think about it. Though I guess it somewhat at least overlaps with unlocking flying.

Kinda regret skipping BfA, it actually looks like it was a cool expansion.

Hehe I did the opossite side, I am a horde player and had to do ALL off the Alliance quests .

I think you can be happy you skipped BFA, This and Shadowlands are the least 2 popular expacks

the only good thing were the story, 2 of the dungeons and maybe the last patch.

What, srsly?
So I can just unlock Kul Tiran then swap that char to horde and it Automaticly unlocks the achieves for Zandalari Troll?

Eventhough you didn’t actually do the ‘correct’ horde storyline etc?

The leveling, lore and just overall atmosphere of BfA seems a lot cooler than this sci-fi dead fairy land. Also you got to be a “neutral faction” WPvP assasin (Legion and MoP had this too), which is cool, no?

But yeah I figured there was some borrowed power akin to the Legion artifact power grind.

I expected so much more from a “dirty” version. You disappoint. :stuck_out_tongue: Seriously though, I think I will just man up and do the quests on Horde, like Kiyouraah did. Eventually…

I really like the Druid Primal Gladiator Dragonhide set as well.

Quick side question, If I have Heritage armour on let’s say a Vulpera. If I faction (or race change) to an allied race, do I receive that Heritage armour aswell?

Race change prevents you getting the new races heritage armor. So no.

That looks and sounds like a bugg we will not report :eyes: :eyes:

Really? The web support page says no. Have not tried myself…sorry for the misleading info then.

It was back in BFA  Damn, I don’t wanna mislead, I’ll rather delete it as I’ve done so many shenanigans my memory fails me.

An exp with great zones (by far the best wow zones imo), some good/fun quests, allied races, but that’s about it. Everything else was absolute garbage. So I don’t think you missed much, and you can always see these few good things through lvling.
