New arena frames actually look good

I tested the customization and they are quite similar ro Raid frames. To be fair if Blizzard would add DR trackers to them I wouldn’t use any gladius, gladiusex or sarena.

Another thing is that Blizzard needs to fix their raid frames. Without BigDebuffs it is almost impossible to see important debuffs like CC or Mindgames. When I played low mmr games gearing alts I’ve notied that average player there doesn’t dispel anything. I don’t blame them as on default Blizzard UI they don’t see anything.

Imo Blizzard should add some of the most popular addons and then disable addons. What other part of the UI you’d like get implemented as baseline?

CD and DR trackers for both parties would be important imo. Just anything that helps you coordinating while not having to be on voice. It’s nice having teammates speak to you, but the ability to also see it yourself if a setup would be ready would be great

This is an issue since forever. Most players don’t

  • Interrupt
  • Dispell/Decurse
  • Watch DR
  • Use defensive cooldowns when needed

at least people somehow know how to CC nowadays. Back in the days the bad players couldn’t wrap their heads around it. Maybe another 10~ years and those people understand the rest of it.

Wait, move anything works again? I havent played for some time and Im still using the improved edit mode addon, because move anything stopped working back then.

I’m not sure if I can say that it works it would be an overstatement
I mostly use its frame selector and then manually change stuff i want with /run commands if the menu does not have what I need

It’s not that bad - I just made it as small as possible. Anyway if it at least had DRs and debuffs like Raid frames I’d use them.

You can use Diminish addon to show diminishing returns on the new arena frames and Arena Set Focus addon to focus targets with right click. Works very well for me.

Omniauras also show debuffs like on arena frames. Omniauras is quite interesting alternative for BigDebuffs. The only thing I like BigDebuffs for is the interrupt inticator next to nameplate. I literally switched everything from BigDebuffs besides it and use Omniauras instead

Do you genuinely like them?

I would assume people who never used addons before, and are generally new to the game, would, but not experienced PVP players.

The fact that they are so clumped together leaves no room for icons above them, and also no good place to set trinket icons and major buffs/debuffs.

I think the new arena frames are still lacking

I like them. With Diminish and Omniauras I might not use any Gladius, Gladiusex or Sarena. I just like raid frames and with some adjustments it’s like raid frames.

You can just make a weakaura to track DR on the blizzard frame
