anyone saw the new animation? I'm actually done with this game first they remove Exorcism then they remove the extremely gorgeous WoTLK Divine Storm animation and now they take the gorgeous wings and turn them into some dumb "OH LOOK HE/SHE'S SHINY WOOHOO" animation

disgusting just disgusting unless they give a damn glyph for old wings I'm legit done and I know nobody cares but I'm just annoyed because they keep removing stuff from this game and never adding options to keep the old version of them in some way or form

It doesn't look bad to me. It's a nice improvement to the old 2d sprite graphic and it does still have wings.

I hate the fact it changes the body of your character to a see-through yellow, why? it’s much cooler to have wings burst from your back like your releasing some huge energy, instead this just looks like some messy ball of yellow.
I also go to bed at night and dream of the old divine storm...

And i prefer looking cool with changing colour because it is new it makes it easy to see you in a fight.
You are taking on the aspect of wrath filling yourself with holy energy and using that to avenge something.

so being able to see yourself for 20 seconds makes a difference... You know if it’s a problem (which iv never had an issue with after 10 years of playing) you can go into setting and click the option to display a yellow circle under your feet that shows where you are at all times.
Paladins have bigger problems then AW new animation.

I have no problem knowing where i am.
The effect is cool it makes you visible something wings already does but even more so this makes it easier to know if a paladin has poped wings in say MDI.
Being cool when doing stuff is part of the fun.

Can't say I'm a fan of the new Avenging Wrath animation. There's beauty to simplicity and our current animation nails it. This new one looks... too much.
[Edit] Actually, I resent most of the new animations. It feels as though they've recoloured the holy yellow into some kind of mustard yellow. I guess it's more visible that way but it doesn't look very good! Still, not something to unsub for I think. :D

PTR Avenging Wrath animation feels like it is too much it even looks like some korean MMO game lol, also wings should go upwards not downwards like they are "dead". A glyph for the old animation should be added but it is not going to happen since blizzard doesn't care and doesn't read EU forums.
Also this. DS one day os the best cool looking animation in the game for me and alot of us

Well it looks cool but did we really deserve a "CC THIS GUY OR JUST KILL HIM QUICKLY BUTTON OR ELSE JUST RUN AWAY FOR A BIT UNTIL HE'S NO LONGER YELLOW" on our only ability that makes us even a little bit threatening?

I just never understood why they chose to make "Holy color" a yellow color. If you ask me it should have been a bright white shine with perhaps a yellow'ish glow.

Wings already say that it is really easy to know and heck you can have weakauras tell you if the other player got it if you want or other addons that do the same thing.
Cooldowns being easy to detect also makes pvp games easier to Follow as a non wow player so if you like pvp and want it to be more like a esport this is a good thing and should happen to all classes on there big cooldown.
Or even if you just want more people to be intrested in wow pvp.

Your forum contribution from before BFA came out to now have been you complaining about not having abilities you want (even though you did not talk to the people who had direct contact wioth blizzard meaning on discord) you never try to bring up how to make the game better you are always complaining but not being critical.
The seal thing you love to put out you really love seals i get it but seals is a self buff and therefor a GCD where we do 0 damage or they become a aura like when they lasted 60min and then it changes gameplay not at all.
empowered seals was ok for a minute it clearly was hard to balance as it was either op or terrible, And that was a talent for a baseline ability sure it would change how we play but many people will dislike and hate it.
heck i hated it in the start of wod and i have played paladin from Tbc.
(changed main char cos it was not a fun way to play)

Probably easiest way woudl be to add glyphs that keeps old animations but knowing blizz they wont make them anytime soon.
I actually love it.
All I wanted was for the wings to get an updated look, but this is way better.
Hopefully they'll make a glyph for it to have the old look back for those that don't like the new.

FYI, new animation doesn't apply if you have 4 wings glyph on AW.
