New Banshee horse mounts "ground only"...?

Opinion on this?

Personally, I think it’s a crime to make these not flyable, seeing other horse mounts can. If ANY horse mounts would make sense to be flyable, these would make the top contender…

Blizz: “Let’s give the players one of the coolest horse mounts in the game… But make sure the players can only use them while AFKing in the main hubs, or in PvP BGs”…

:joy:

Especially considering that Blizz has commited to flying being an integrated part of WoW’s zones since Dragonfligt, this is SUCH an odd decision.

I’m indifferent. I don’t mind having a mix of ground and flying mounts. They always come in handy and my mount summon is set to anything from my collection.

Not sure.

On one side, I think it looks lame when every mount can fly and the horse just ends up either running on air or sprouting wings, both of which seems forced.

On the other hand I really like the gold/yellow one and it would fit my Hunters mog, but if it is only a ground mount I wont bother using it, since I have only one mount keybound and want it to work both in BGs and open world.

blizzard doing blizzard things

are we at all surprised ?

Couldn’t care less. They do not look appealing to me, so I won’t use them anyway.

Flying horse this, flying horse that…

Where is my flying talbuk? Flying stag? Flying wolf? Flying mechanostrider?

10/10 would use a Mechanostrider that just flipped its legs up to a pair of wings and took up.

Somewhere in the blizzard pipeline :pensive:

There’s actually one in a Loch Modan quest!

It’s not the end of the world.

The High Elf-looking horse was ground mount only and I still bought it.
I don’t really like the Undead and I’ve already got the Sanctum Doomcharger so I probably won’t get it because I only care for High Elves, Blood Elves and Night Elves (Highborne specifically.)
