Im just wondering if the upcoming burning wound leggo is worth switching to, currently using Chaos theory. could it be viable in pvp?
Not worth it in any scenario. For pvp you wanna roll with the darkness leggo so you have some actual survivability. For raiding ct will pump when the rng gods smile upon you and in m+ ca is more reliable especially if playing with coh, which you should. No point in making a leggo that reduces your m+ rotation to tab targetting through a pack until you debuff all mobs then use immo aura and then go back to tabbing cause the debuff will wear off. If you like abusing your tab key, go for it, otherwise stay away from it.

im agreeing with Kaldayur on m+ part but
raids -> could be decent, depends what will be the % difference from CT and depends does one like rng from CT and fishing…CT will prolly still be stronger but the question is by how much
pvp -> could be ok if you go necro + UC depending if FftF + uc can nuke or not…Tren will know and will have youtube video up after the patch for sure
I dont want to switch covenant anymore. Already did it from Venthyr to NF and im not grinding it again. One thing i am afraid is that blizz will FORCE ppl to farm torghast for soul ash for different leggos by buffing and nerfing them, same with forcing ppl to switch covenanta by nerfing ans buffing abilities.
This happened in legion too, most specs had their patch in which they were good. For example outlaw was good in emerald nightmare, sub was good in tomb of sargeras, assassination was good in antorus.
Same thing will happen this expac with legendaries, at least.
Update: burning would leggo seems to be very much worth it according to sims, same with darkglare medallion.

about Blizzards forcing the specific legos and torghast etc. Theres a great read on the general forum Ion doesn’t deserve the hate or some such. Someone linked a review where the author states that Ion “works hardest” to not work at all aka they are continuously making changes in the game so ppl would farm current content and current borrowed powers so they dont have to make anything new.
Its cheaper and easier to just buff the leggo that was rank unusable to rank S. Ppl will go farm it whether they like it or not cause noone will run with rang B or C leggo anymore. So until that modus operandi changes, yeah we will be forced to go where they tell us to go.
It will so until enough ppl just give up, unsub and stops playing ooor they somehow develop a conscience and actually start to develop their game again properly.
