Actually the reason is a lot easier…
Stormwind always was the capital.
But Ironforge became the player-selected main-hub because auction-house and bank were literally just a bridge away from each other.
In old Stormwind you had to travel from trade district to dwarven district (as there was no auction house in trade district yet).

im talking about the player pov people used to argue in vanilia that ironforge was the main city when it was clearly not
Kezan is back and will once again be the cradle of Goblin civilization.

i would like to have new cities. but these and the olde ones need some love.
