New capture the flag bg, when?

They implemented only one bg since 2016… an no new CTF map since 2010

They said last blizzcon they would make new maps using the same rules, and it would be quick and easy… but I guess that was a lie

I’d love it. I wouldn’t even mind if they just reskinned the current CTFs we have currently. And made them a different area in the open world. That way no one needs to relearn how to actually play the BGs as well.

Didn’t Blizzard promise us more battlegrounds? At the last BlizzCon, they were going on about how they wanted to create more battlegrounds using the same system, so they could spin up new ones more easily… but so far, we’ve only gotten one new battleground. What happened to that plan?
