New class race combos but no worgen monks or Paladin yet?

The animation is in the game, most of the gear is obtainable if you play a different class. Lore reason? That ship is long sailed away. So the question shouldn’t be about IF but about When are they gonna add them? It would be perfect Race/Class combo added when Tauren and the other races gets the Rogue class in the pre-patch.

GIVE. ME. WORGEN. MONKS. BLIZZARD.

If they’re adding something like Tauren Rogues into the game, there is absolutely nothing to say that they can’t just lift most other restrictions. Lore is clearly not a factor to them anymore.

I’m still patiently waiting for the worgen monk. The name has long been reserved.

Blaidd :metal:

The worgen can’t even control their shape-shifting in combat, how can they control more complex inner flows? Until they learn how to keep in the human form or not fall to bloodlust in the worgen, there’s no way they can learn the stuff.

They can be Druids if you didn’t know.

:man_facepalming: What…?

Rolling worgen is going to be the most hilarious thing ever animated. Disney doesn’t hold a candle.

Yes? Because they are infused by nature - being a Druid doesn’t require inner peace at all! It just requires a connection with nature and/or wild gods.

She’s right, you know. That’s the official lore reason and it’s a good reason. Monk+ferocity is a no go.

Hopefully never!

There are very few class/race combos that shouldnt work anymore.
And if its because…Lore then Id point out that all the races have been mingling and learning from each other for many years now so most of them would of learned how to be whatever class by now!

Literally makes no sense In 2022 but whatever

Agreed !!

What are you talking about? Druids needs to find inner peace to reach the Emerald dream or to shape shift from Human to Worgen then into another form.

Literally so many mistakes here in just one sentence. No you don’t need just a “Connection” becoming a Druid becomes years of practice and training. Same logic could be said about monks “Just don’t be mad and move your fists”

I’m pretty sure Blizzard was like “we’d like to make all the races be able to be all the classes but before we need to make sure all the animations and stuff work for everything”. Or something like this.

Edit: “We want to move towards a world where the race of a character is not a limiter for what they can do or what they can become in the World of Warcraft ,” Holinka said. “We’re working towards that, but not all of the classes have the same content requirements.

I am certain with this too, I think it will be added sooner or later if Tauren can become Paladin I am fairly certain Worgen will eventually too

And still no Draenei Warlocks!

*Shakes fist *

To be honest if Nightborne can become warlock I don’t see why Draenei can’t either

Not to mention that the story is right there! The surviving sargerai fled the alternate draenor, just like maghar orcs did, and went to draenei and asked for forgiveness and velen being the mor…benevolent leader that he is gave it.

lol current year

It’s true. Night Elves and Tauren were taught about it from Cenarius and blessed by Ysera, some Tauren became the Highmountain Tauren which is why their horns look like Cenarius’s antlers. These blessings are also why Night Elves lived forever until the destruction of the world tree that blessed them.

Trolls get it from their loa. Worgen get it from becoming half Night Elf due to the Scythe of Elune’s connection to Goldrinn, another spirit of nature.

If you have not been blessed by a wild god you cannot become a Druid. It’s canon. There’s no mistake. Go check Wowpedia and come back when you’ve educated yourself.

Of course it seems as if Blizzard doesn’t give a singular care to these things any more so who knows what they’ll come up with now. If we can get clop-clop-rogues then I’m sure Dark Iron Dwarf Druids aren’t far behind sigh.
