New classes to add in WoW. Dark ranger ? Blade master? Necromancer? NOPE!

Hello people !
At some point all of us wanted or hear , read about ideas of new classes to WOW. With the end of Shadow lands some people speculated the introduction of Dark ranger as a class, but is that really possible ?! Heck even Blade master and Necromancer sounds cool to be added and have a future in the game.
Here is my opinion :
No ! You wander why ? Just lets check the last class added “DH” it feels kinda rushed and with only 2 specs and keep in mind next next one Evoker same thing , it feels like down the road they got stuck or lack of imagination or who knows what and don’t get me wrong I like the DH concept and so on ( tbh has few abilities unique and most of them seems like combination or recycled spells of others ) but something is missing…
Solution :
How about new specs , for example:

Dark ranger goes for Hunter as 4th spec. ( why ? simply because it will be blunt and 50% of DR game play will be like Hunter just imagine "arcane shot " will be “shadow shoot” etc. same class different colors and names ); where we can have our fantasy of a hunter using shadow magic.

Necromancer goes for Mage as 4th spec ( maybe you wanted for warlock but i think its better for the mage , like locks have the “demonology” spec for “zoo” and overwhelming foes , and just for the sake of it think about the classic RPG where Necromancy its a school of magic for mages and wizards.)

Blade master goes for Monks as 4th spec ( I think it fits because Bm are like samurai inspired and monks are the most close to this path or who knows maybe for rogues will work too this can be opened to vote where this spec goes, any ideas are welcomed.)

Now… people argued about a second class with ranged weapons like hunter, well maybe it can be fixed by adding the 3rd spec for DH like a range dps and to add something short crossbows to be dual wield or gloves bows,( similar to Diablo) and I’m sure it can be figured out.

Bonus:

A true class that should be added in the game is “Thinker” with 3 specs clean and simple.

  1. Range/Melee dps with lasers , rockets , turrets etc. ( names like : " artillery , gadges, science madness, etc. )
  2. Tank with some kind of robot or power armor like the 4th ability in WC3.
  3. Heal with “Alchemy/Nanobots” same principle like it was in WC3 the alchemist hero.
    What do you think folks?

They could just add talents for hunters what leads eventually to Dark Ranger and same for warlocks what would eventually lead to necromancer.

Don’t need blade master

Necromancy? It would use glyph Necromancy for warlocks

Dark rangers i just saw only Night elves and High elves, so it’s only on 3 races, not enough, Humans could not have dark rangers option because Undeads are Humans on the horde side, just like Nathanos

2 races can be playable demon hunters as Night Elves and Blood Elves, but Darkspear and Zandalari could be demon hunters because of the Demoniacs is a thing for all trolls warlocks and demon hunter and banished demon’s soul

However, Orcs and Humans of stormwind were in Black Temple instances that illidan could teach them demon hunters quickly

Worgen are Night Elves with worgen curse as Hybrids,so they could be demon hunters too

Blood elves are humans with point ears. Why couldn’t rest of the human races (Human,Undead Human,Dwarf,Gnome and Vrykul) become demon hunters either?

Night elves could be warlocks once demon hunter came out in Legion

Actually it would work for mages too, kinda 4th spec dark magic

Why it have to be “new class” when that could be worked with talents for current classes. Going forward like Dark Ranger or necromancy would mean you need sacrifice something from other “specs”

Would nice to see this option like for paladins. You take talents from grey area like example DK talents cost you something from original paladin talents

Blade master is literally just Arms warrior orc. Just roll an orc warrior, give him proper shirtless trasnmog (which we have) with proper katana/lance (which we have) and you are set. Solved.

Dark ranger is literally just undead elf marksman speced hunter. We now even have proper cosmetic options for those. Solved.

Necromancer is little more tricky. It would make sense as a class, however as we have warlocks who do literally the same thing except their power lorewise is from demons and fel, the class would bring nothing new to the table. As for undead minions summoning we have deathknights already. People who are obsessed with necromancy are the same sort of people who want, I quote: " [Quel’dorei High Elves as an Alliance allied race]".

It still disgusts me how they reduced DR to a customisation compromise, A Hunter is NOT a Dark Ranger a Hunter uses Arcane and Nature magic, I personally would have been happy for DR to be a 4th Spec in Hunter seeming as they butchered SV into a melee class but no as usualy they think we would be happy with the minimalist amount of effort for them to have given us.

And Physical too,like warriors

Anyway, Hunters required to have option for racial pet, and then can tame the rest of the untamed ones, and all races can be hunters

So druids for all races will be a thing in the game, but it takes long about stuid form (art requirement),shaman and paladin too

Why you all think old classes spec, let say it this way, you have pool where to pick talents for ranged, melee and casters lock/mage their own ofc and then you build your char from there. Ok cant say where druids drop in this cause they can be all but they could have their own talent pool

The more classes you add, the less time the devs can spend on balancing them. All it will ultimately result in is less complexity in class design.

i’m afraid according to the arch lich all magic is necromancy so there no need for a necromancer class :stuck_out_tongue:

If it ever comes possible you should try atleast, say good bye to holy light and see what darkness have to offer you might like it🙂

Lets do ci master for monks, rdd green magic caster, its lit

Oh my god you just…
Reading this made me angry!

It still disgusts me how they added Void Elf Dark Rangers in the first place. Just like Void Elves got the Fake - Blood Elf options.
Imagine this,
Now VE’s are complaining that they need different color eyes!

And then they wonder why ppl dislike Void Elf players :upside_down_face:.

Void Elves need to be purple, that’s why they’re void elves.
If you want to be a Dark Ranger go play Night Elf.
If you want be a “high elf” go play Blood Elf.
For crying out loud…

How about… No…

I don’t think there’s anything like enough spec material to squeeze out of a Dark Ranger. It’s just a Hunter with an undead red-eyed coat of paint.

Necromancer is not part of Mage fantasy. The closest thing probably is the Unholy Death Knight-- and for Necromancer it’s kind of like the difference between a Paladin and a Priest.

However, I agree that of all the classes the one area that has a bit more to squeeze out is the Demon Hunter. They could make a Soul Reaper spec or something that’s more ranged focused, and it would make all the sense to add another user of bows.

Quick note on this from wowwiki

In lore, any race can become a demon hunter, though almost all demon hunters today are night elves, with a minority of blood elves.[5] The tradition of demon hunters arises from night elf history; a few blood elves have made the pledge as well, seeking revenge for the destruction of their home.
Humans can also be demon hunters.[4] Some of these demon hunters can be found guarding Mount Hyjal with the help of fellow night elf demon hunters.[9]

Demon hunters in other races are rare, but some exist

If you want Blizzard do something for you, you have to ask for the opposite of whatever you want.

You have to say, "No! I hate all of these things listed here!"

That way you know for sure they will eventually be added to the game and doubled-down upon.

“Evoker” class?

Yeah. No one asked for that.

You think you did—but you didn’t.
