Some of you know this, some may not, so I am posting here. A new comic has been posted on the website named “Mechagon.” It really puts some light onto the ways of the junker gnomes, and I love it. What do you all think of it? I’ll provide the broken link below.

Spoopy. Reminds me of the Cybermen in a good way!
The only complaint is the King clearly has his game model badly shopped in, but what’s odd is parts of him still appear drawn in some panels.
I suspect he got a design change and the artist had to scramble to redo him within a few days or something.
Still, looks better than the Derprunners/Cakerunners comic.
It’s okay Womp, we’ll take the tin gnomes and make brand new shovels for all the peons!

Honestly I’m far more invested in Mechagon than Azshara at this point.

When the highlight of bfa is a gnome side adventure.
Blizzard has never been good with having an engaging over arching plot ever since WotLK… It’s always side stories that outshines the main big bad plot.
In legion it was Suramar.
In WoD it was Spires of Arak, Shadowmoon Valley and Gorgrond.
In MoP… Isle of Thunder (although I’d say the whole of MoP was pretty great).
And now Mechagon is the highlight of BfA.

I genuinely wish there were more WoW comics being published that served to flesh out the world like this. They’re so sparse these days and they’re always a joy to read.
We hated the Curse of Flesh before it was cool.
Pretty sure I’m gunna be the only person playing this game in a patch or two because of that.
Damn, that’s good.
Though I don’t like gnomes, mecha-gnomes or what ever. That story line was neat.
Reminds me of some deal-with-the-devil type of thing. “Sure you can have immortality buddy… Though in a body that has no skin and you can’t move in it”.
I’m not looking forward so much gnome lore, but atleast gnomes are getting some attention after they asked such for years.
