New desktop - opinions?

I just ordered a new desktop pc and I wanted to know all your opinions on this matter. I mainly plan to use this pc to play WoW, Overwatch, maybe some AC games. I wanted to know if this was a decent deal for the price.

Overall good one. With time you can add a bigger SSD to have all games on a SSD (try to put WoW on the SSD) and if you will start playing more demanding games - replace the GPU. The CPU is quite strong.

Good tip to install WoW on the SSD. Does it have a big impact on performance?

Also the graphics card is decent enough for wow, but in a year or two I can replace it with a better one of course, if I want to play better games.

Legion Dalaran likely had a big impact on SSD popularisation world wide :stuck_out_tongue:

Loads time are way better on a SSD, even basic SATA one (you can check if there are cheap ones locally and add that from start even - like Apacer 512GB or alike but decent).

Oh but my build contains an SSD. Maybe I didn’t list it in a clear way, listing pc specs is still new for me.

256GB from which Windows will take a chunk, while WoW retail will take like 60-80GB so you likely be restricted from installing other games on the SSD (and you should not get the SSD to full or the performance will drop).

Might just be me, but you could do worse than a two SSD setup - small(er) SSD for Windows & medium+ SSD for game installs (esp. ones that need fast load times).

I have a 250GB “Windows” drive & a 500 GB “Games (WoW & cpl. others)” drive - both Samsung SSDs - still undecided as to whether to switch out the 240GB unit for an m.2 drive.
