So its another dps spec and healers are left with exactly zero cool fantasy specs again. Oh well, enjoy the queues in midnight.

Yea, but you will still do shiny green and holy animations. Thats just old and boring. There is nothing badass about being a healer in this game. I hoped they would use this opportunity to make some dark themed healer for the first time in 20 years.
I wonder what is the point of adding in another meele spec for it… What will be different this time? The animations will be blue and purple instead of green? I really hoped that it will be a ranged spec and the whole void theme will be a spell recolor like the one we have for warlocks…

Mid-range, meaning similar to Evoker range?
That’s what I’m thinking. I imagine they will have 2 to 3 spells that will be useable in that range and won’t work if you’re in melee range of the mob/boss.
From what I read/heard it will be a mid range spec, where it has a melee combo that ends with you leaping back and using spells from range. So a bit of both, idea of using harvested souls to toggle their meta reminds me of cata/mop metamorphosis warlock concept, which I used to adore. So looking forward to it personally, that is if they manage it make it stand out from the other two dh specs.
Yeah I’m thinking they will do a combo and then have to move back to an evoker max ranged to throw their spirit bomb.
