New Fresh Start Realm -- Jin'do

give free transfers only to the more numerous pop, allow creation only through transfers or underdog faction. problem solved.

sure that would be a good idea, locking the minority faction out from transfering to balance things out would be great. i just dont think blizzard has ever done that before? i might be wrong

This is a really good news. Thanks Blizz!

Many people saying that without transfer ticket this is useless. That’s absolutely not true. We don’t even need transfers.
Because many players are still lower levels and they also increase the queue at the moment (maybe they are lower levels, because they can only login after going home from work, when they stand into the 12k/6h queue, which is non-sense, I’m sorry for them). And probably they will start new character on the fresh server, since they are lower levels, there is not that much for them to restart. And finally they might be able to play the game, when they arrive home after work. And by doing that, they win because they can finally play the game without (or with shorter) queue, and we, who stay with our higher/max level characters on original servers, also win, because we might have shorter queue. It’s just a win-win. (If I had a lvl20-30 now, I would also belong to the new server from tomorrow).

I’m happy about this, Blizz. I’m waiting for the ‘26.09’ even more.

This doesnt make any sense, how is this going to help people from thekal?

This can only help with the launch it doesn’t target the current problem,we are being ignored again

I can’t wait for fresh bros

Giantstalker does not even have queues and you add a new fresh server? Makes sense. How about you also allow free faction change when changing a server so people that play on a Horde dominant server can transfer to an Alliance server for free?

The Fresh belivers biten themselves into their tails. Now they would demand new fresh realm, because old one somehow ended up full of Bots and people having just a bit more progress than them.

First it will stop most new comers from piling onto Thekal. Then many low levels will abandon it for Jindo. And you know that Fresh belivers are mostly altoholics. Leveling is the main attraction for them.

Transfer to Mograine. Best solution, Blizzard has already stated that is the only solution. And Mograine is a high populated server with no lag, its perfect for the WOTLK release.

They already stopped newcomers from piling on Thekal by locking the server… The problem with the queue will (probably) remain even after a week or so because people won’t abandon the characters they’ve invested time in to go to another fresh server.

What does this fix for Thekal?

Thank you for the update. However, I am somewhat confused why need this new realm when we have just gone through realm consolidation to address population issues.

Agreed! This is the best way forward.

Im sure its not 100%, but a rough idea atleast.

I take subscribtion today to play with my friends on Thekal. And you closed it because of this server. So fun!

Yes the only solution is to transfer to a server that will be dead in a couple of months, big brain move, when FIREMAW had 3x the players online at the same time on sunwell release and no lag? explain how that makes sense, less players online now, no queue, massive lags everyday, they are clearly doing something with firemaw atm.

It’s general fact

Small servers are teeming with life on content release all without lags and queues. But they are empty ghost towns towards phase ends, the later the phase the worse.

Megaservers are overcrowded on content release acompanied by huge queues and lag. But they are teeming with life without lag and queues towards phase end, the later the phase the better.

If you want to play now and don’t care what will be in three months, small server is the way to go.
If you care more about your future gameplay and don’t mind sacrificing some weeks of gameplay then megaservers are the way to go.

It’s a personal preference.

Why would a high populated server be dead in a few months? This server probably peak closer to 10k already. And will be much higher the coming weeks, and it will boom on the WOTLK release. If this isn’t enough to transfer because you think it will be dead in a few months, then no one can help you.

I don’t know about Firemaw, but Gehennas had 8k players in queue yesterday, and it has really bad lag.

You just said you dont know about firemaw, enough said.

Mograine will be the second highest server for Horde, and I personally don’t think the server will “die” any time soon. If you want to play on a laggy server and stay in queue that is up to you. But don’t come to forums and complain about it.
