No you wont have another chance at “making if out on top” with “two jobs” and “three wife’s son”.
On “top” of what actually? You’ll just literally have 2 weeks to up from 1 to 70 instead of a whole month, with the same 50% bonus XP.
Good luck being on “top” versus ppl who will be able to play 15 hours a day, be level 70, fully geared and professions maxed out after 4 days.
And you’ll be in the same situation as now, calling the server “stale” after 4 days, because you’ll still be level 40 by that time. And even if you manage to be “on top”, well, you’ll just afk/not play till the release because, like everyone else, you’ll be full S4 geared and profession ready, nothing less, nothing more
I think it would be better if there was a free transfer allowed from Thekal, but this is a start for sure.
I’m worried that way too many people are way too invested in their characters already and you are setting the server up for failure by not allowing transfers. Hope I’m wrong though.

This is only going to damage things at this stage. Even with transfers from Thekal - which should be enabled if you want to tackle the queue part of things. Everything else, faction, economy etc is just going to be more borked.
What are you on about, thekal literally launched what, 2 weeks ago? if that? And everyone started with nothing
Your new server will be " stale " again in a few weeks lol with 70s running around with 1000s of gold again, why would it be different, you are braindead if you think it isn’t going too be poisoned in the first couple weeks like every other realm in existence

So what will happen when The’kal becomes a Alliance only server then? Will we get free transferes down the road, after the 3 month periode?
One thing that might be smart would be to make this new fresh server more attractive in an attempt to lure over people from Thekal that don’t really want re-roll and start all over again, and to make the best out of the fact that this server is basically losing 3 out of the total 5 weeks with pre-patch and the Joyus EXP buff would be to increase the buff to 100, 125 or even 150%. This would balance out the fact that all players on this server will have 2/5 of the time to get themselves to level 68-70 before Northrend opens up, and it would also make the idea of re-rolling for existing players on Thekal less bothersome as it will at least go faster this time around.

70s running around with thousands of gold? Isn’t that normal if you level to 70 and quest in tbc? People’s problem is players running around with millions of gold not thousands.
Don’t nolife a video game, theres no point in it. Lesson learned.

Now just make the Fresh servers BG together, and not with all the twinks from other realms.
I tried a few BGs while leveling in the 40s bracket, had a decent bit of gear and still died in 2-3 hits from twinks.
i mean you dont have to… but even adding the ability to queue anywhere in the world, after a few Bgs people are just guna be like, Nah… not for me. When they wana try level for Wotlk launch and you are spending 10-20 minutes in a BG which awards 0 XP if you lose (harsh) Twinks are game changers in each BG.

If Thekal will stay locked on 26, early zones will be dead there.

free transfer will absolutely DESTROY the balance of both servers.

I’m not convinced it would, but if given a choice between one realm being very sparsely populated with the other one having queues all afternoon, and both being healthy albeit one-sided, I would choose the latter.
I’m crossing my fingers hoping this will resolve the queues, or at least reduce them to a bearable level though.
