As the format screams pre-built, how much more than £2000* are you paying…? That’s about what the parts would cost to build it yourself & to be fair 9800X on X299 isn’t quite the newest kit available.

For general gaming, it’s got a good few years of use & as far as WoW goes it’s about as OTT as it gets.

One thing I would check is whether X299 'boards are 9th gen compatible… it may be wiser to go for an X370/390 variant. I just checked - it is.

Having thrown the list above into PCPartPicker I think you may find that an i7-9700K on a RoG STRIX Z390-E Gaming may be a sounder choice, subject to the supplier you’re using offering this as a choice.

Edit this link to see what I came up with: https ://uk.pcpartpicker .com/list/rcYRjy

I am paying 2300 pounds for it  im going to check how much is a i9700

thank you for your feedback

BTW im using PCSPECIALIST to build it… I don’t have big idea about pc configuration basicaly I am following forums and firends advices haha

Just went there & configured this… £2080:

The CoolerMaster Hyper 212X isnt the budget king it used to be, its very crappy even for CPU’s like the 9800x or 9700K/9800K.

If you spend so much on a new PC why not get a better cooler to?
Something like a Noctua NH-U12A, NH-D15 or a Bequiet Darkrock Pro 4 etc etc.
