New Hallowfall Quest (BUGGED) **workaround found**

I’ve submitted a bug report ingame, but anyone else noticed that NPCs have just disappeared? Like there are no flight masters, some npcs for a WQs are not there. Not even the WQ for the bronze racing dude.

Other zones seem perfectly fine. Just a tad confusing if it’s something I’ve done or if an intern was in charge of making a quest, and it’s broken something in the zone.

Anywho, will be interesting if this is happening to others and on different servers.

EDIT:

OK, so this appears to be related to the new quest that appeared in Hallowfall. After completing it, everything is screwed up in the zone.

And what makes it even better is Blizzard has now made it near impossible to get in touch with customer support now xD

Same here but I still haven’t found out which one it is.
What quest is it about?

It was the one found Lost Time or something, where you had to collect 6 memories or something.

People who complete it are put in an empty phase of Hallowfall, where they can see each other, but they will not see other players who have not completed that quest. But also they will not see any NPC apart from the renown quarter master.

Also, the NPC that gave the quest in the beginning is also not there anymore. So I have a feeling, whoever created the quest, never had it fully tested.

I have a feeling it will be fixed by the developers, once they wake up and the players in the United States start to have the same problem and do more reports/complaining about it.

It is very annoying. I can’t do anything in Hollowfall anymore.
I can’t do any quests, WQ… nothing.

edit:
I was at the Pool Cleaner world quest, I killed 2/15 mobs and suddenly everything disappeared. There were no mobs anywhere

This happened to me with the Dalaran intro… I had to hearthstone out then return, did you try that?

I have the same problem… and its account wide :confused: I can’t see any quest mob, event, npcs, etc. on any of my characters

I found a fix:
Go back to Mereldar and find the orphanage building at 41.55 and upstaires talk to Alyza Bowblaze - " You can join me in the Hungering Pool"

I think it’s part of a quest, but I don’t know which one

EDIT:

Yeap I can indeed confirm this work around fixes it. At the beginning you will not see any NPCS, but when you mount up and fly they all reappear.

This worked for me as well!

A few observations:

  1. This happened on two of my characters when I passed/was doing the Pool Cleaner world quest.
  2. On my main character I hadn’t done Alyza’s quest “An Orphan’s Request”. Because of this, it seems I couldn’t see Alyza in the orphanage and I couldn’t resolve the issue.
  3. On my alt, I had already done the quest, and on that character I could see Alyza. When I asked her to join me in the Pools, not only did it resolve the missing NPCs and players on my alt, but when I logged back in on my main the issue had gone there as well!

I have the same bug but i completed the quest. When I go to talk with the Alyza she doesn’t give me the option to “join” her . You guys found anything else?
