No, its related to speed. But later he does mention “fast paced”.
“Slow, pure melee, good dps for a healer, good group utility.”
I don’t really play holy paladin, tbf, but that’s my impression of it vs the other healers I do play. Druid and monk are faster on their feet by a country mile, and no healer is as bound to being in melee combat as a paladin. Likely to suffer the same problem as disc priests, whereby pugs get cross about you “trying to dps instead of healing” even though that’s literally how your spec needs to be played.
But… paladins can pull some surprising burst dps with a couple of cooldowns, are hard to kill, and have some powerful externals to throw on the party. They also rarely end up being particularly bad in any given season, and often excel in PvP. I would generally consider them a pretty safe bet for the future if you enjoy the play style, because Blizz seem to look after the golden boys
Why you gotta lie like that? What do we have against DHs leaps, Warriors leap & charge, Monks chi torpedo & transendance, Druids dash & travel form/cat form?
Oh for goodness sake!!! READ!!!
NOT FAST CLASS!!!
Thanks for the very good info, much appreciated!
I am going to definitely try it out since I want to have every class at max level and to try them. So far I have Shaman, Hunter, Mage, Priest and Warlock… Still a lot of work, but Paladin should be the next one in line, since that’s the one I like the most of the remaining classes.
P.S. planning to be a girly goat, not a golden boy (reminds me on Lannisters, lol).
This is what you replied after Elahri mentioned Paladins are wheelchair classes.
That’s the reason we do reply in terms of speed not rotation pace
Play Evoker.
BTW you know you can have 2 ponies? plus the conduit to increase the speed, plus the slow consecration, plus a AOE stun to move away, plus a hard stun to move away… what a DH have? oh yeah 2 infernal strikes (if you talent them) and an AOE stun… just like paladins.
And warrior? one heroic leap? … that’s it?
That’s the reason why paladin is a wheelchair? because we have more mobility than a warrior if we want?
From my experiene i would advise people to stay away from mage in DF. Mage and ele shaman will be most likely sacrificed to ensure enough people roll their new hero class and their numbers will be mediocre.
Recharging of double infernal strikes is Way faster as double pony (which pretty much should not be talented either)
Warrior has leap, double charge intervene so yeah way more mobility aswell
I only responded to explain why we responded as we did, i have 0 interest in discussing the mobility of a class that is known for not being mobile.
Edit* Stuns are utility not mobility so i was not talking about those ^^
Have a nice day sir (:
says the guy with the talent active
you too have a good weekend.
I’m staying VDH.
I’m pretty hyped with the new vengeance tree.
For a first iteration, it’s looking good.
Only problem i have as it is now, fiery brand is going to be completely useless to spec into, frailty is just stronger.
And maybe the choice is an illusion here.
You want to go Fracture, Soul barrier, elysian decree. Other options are just worse.
Also they destroyed metas uptime.
Also our ST damage will continue to be garbage.
Come to think of it, it’s a bad, bad tree.
Ignites torch
Melee for sure is much more engaging (ie fun) over ranged imo.
Rogue or monk looks to be much fun come DF.
Could say the same about you?
Whatever man, there is no a worse blind person than the one who doesn’t want to see.
He literally said the class is slow… In the second row of the OP, how do you not see that?
I imagine it’s selective reading.
I think I’ll be playing demon hunter it looks like its going to be a lot of fun! hi shiro
What you described here is literally a dh.
i enjoyed holy…
i only ever played it during legion though … with the artifact weapons and melee dmg…
i am heavily tempted to play as dps shaman … if i do return
