I understand what the community manager is saying BUT I believe this is a technical issue, fixed with tools and not by humans. Btw most of the ban in the game are from tools maybe I am bad mannered but this is nonsense to me. (like the mass report in WSG of the enemy EFC which made him ban for 24h, or the Asmongold ban). Also they’ve been ban 100-200K bots accounts lately, and those have been mass ban by tools of course.
they tried tools fro 17-18 years. recruiting players to help has never been done, and we actually see it - a bounty would inncentivice players to report for the reward, and teh system would have a lead to work from to confirm. its big data, and dynamic. it needs input to reduce the number of suspects that arent actual suspects. we can help with that.
Yeah, clearly something wrong if people don’t have 1000g by now. It’s either they typed the number wrong or are using an expired card, idk, but yes, everyone should have 1000g by now, specially people with jobs and families, since they definitely have money in their accounts amirite?
/S
In the end even 40g will be too expensive for some, 100g is the right price.
In a normal classic play through getting your gathering professional and not spending it on AH with every new level you should be at 100g without much effort
Mounts are a big deal in classic so it should be something that requires at least a little effort
I honestly don’t think this is a problem. On the contrary it’s a small decent gold sink.
I have some 100 gold across 3 characters and I play pretty occasionally. I’ve only farmed tin ore and wool when tin was 10 a a piece, and I haven’t farmed anything in the last 3 weeks.
I take it you’re being flippant of course, yes there’s just about enough L25+ doable quests to get you some gold, but all that XP wasted is not sensible, particularly for casual players.
As horde it’s hard enough levelling L25-30 as it is, they have fewer zone options.
Those who think L25+ quests are going to continue to pay 1-2g once p2 goes live are in for a shock.
I know, and blizz prolly saw the insane amounts of gold ppl get from questing at max, and also knew stuff would be cheaper aswell, and and and. But anyway play the game as is or go work on your life ppl, more things to worry about there anyway …
Gold is easy to get with quests at the capped level. You won’t struggle to get 100g for your mount unless you’ve been recently lobotomized. Stop crying like a baby.
Don’t insult the man, you asked for it when you implied that 100g takes “an hour” to farm.
And I do agree it will be perfectly manageable
If a quest gave you 2g (which, on average, it doesn’t. It gives less, but still I’ll take the 2g value), then to make 100g in an hour, you would have to complete 50 quests in an hour, which would average a little over 1 minute per quest.
Now I know you meant to make a hyperbole, but it was a very stretched one, I must say.
I mean, even for a super casual like me, 100 gold is doable even without using the AH. If not by 40, by 41 or 42. I do need to farm stuff of course, but it’s part of the Classic package.
