New Mouse PVP

Hi guys !

I would like to change mouse but I don’t know what to take…

I mainly play arena and rbg!

I’ve seen a lot of MMO mice like the G600 or the Razer naga but I don’t know if it’s really useful all its buttons in pvp on a mouse…

What mouse do you recommend?

Whatever mouse is comfy for you.
I use a razer deathadder elite because I got big man hands.

I dislike side buttons, also eventhough I use 4 skillbars filled to the brink, I have keybinds enough.

Naga is good if you can get used to the rounder shape of it and you’re nimble enough to use the buttons on the side. Otherwise mice like steelseries rival 710 works pretty well, and steelseries got their own engine just like razer, that lets you put in custom key mapping/macros on the side-buttons.

If you’re ok with anything then just go with the same brand as your keyboard if you’ve got a keyboard that got its own engine. Otherwise it’s really just up to yourself.

I use a naga and the 12 buttons on side for most skills, with binds on keyboard for targeting.

Works for me, as I’m a fat finger champ and have less risk of doing that on the mouse it seems.

personally don’t like the shape of the naga and at least my trinity feels super flimsy and cheap with awful pre-travel on the 2 main clicks. in terms of functionality tho it has pretty much everything. at least if it doesn’t break, i’ve had like 5 or 6 nagas. if you do want a naga look at the naga x for low weight or the v2 hyperspeed for wireless.

i use a g604 which i love, wireless, lovely shape, nice buttons, nice scrollwheel. only big downside to me is that it’s heavy. it has recently been discontinued, probably because they break all the time.

the aerox 9 is the best mmo mouse on paper since it has everything, is wireless and lightweight. however it supposedly requires large hands so many people return them because they can’t reach the buttons. it also breaks.

the scimitar has an excellent shape for my hand, and the primary clickers feel good, but the scrollwheel and side buttons are really bad feeling. it is also coated in a thin rubber coating that peels after a year or something, so it has a short best before date unless you wipe it all off with alcohol like i did. also the scrollwheel on them break a lot.

if you don’t want so many buttons just get like a superlight or a g305 or something. think the mmo mice are more unreliable than the others, plus generally quite expensive and heavy and just a compromise in general. but if you need the buttons you need them.

My Favourite ist RoccatNyth, If U got big hands and Like Sidebuttons, its perfect.

You should pick the Razer Naga X.
It’s the most recent Naga mouse.

12 buttons on the side, 2 additional buttons behind the scroll wheel.

Will you use all 14 buttons the first month of receiving the mouse?
Of course not. But in the long run, you will, and it’s nice.
I even have hotkeys for strike like my Hearthstone, my mana drinks, my mounts and some emotes I like to use to trashtalk my opponents, as any sane PvP players should. Pretty convenient.

Depends on the class/spec you’re playing.
Many classes can benefit greatly from a Naga.
Some classes are fine on an Atari controller.

Ive had a Logitech G600 thats been great for about 7 years now. Some buttons are finally starting to die so movong to a logiteh G604

try lithiums instead of alkalines, they weigh 10g less and make the weight more balanced so it’s not back heavy

I have the Naga as it was one of the very few MMO mice that came in a left hand version.

It took some serious getting used to and I still can’t reliably use all 12 buttons, but 9 of them are very, very comfy and easy for me to reliably hit now.

Ive used naga, naga trinity and scimitar. Now I use trinity as I found i didnt use all 12 buttons so go for the circle layout

i like the circle and 2 button layouts better as well. the shape makes it hard to grip comfortably with the 12 button because thats where i want to put pressure. but it feels like it doesnt fit my hand well in general, its easily my least comfortable mouse.

I have tried my brother’s mmo mouse it’s called corsair scimitar and it felt really good. Not too heavy (basically it felt lighter than my ec2-a). I recommend. The software to configure the device is not the most intuitive but once you’ve set it up you’re good to go forever

wtf did I just read, not useful? the game is unplayable without it

I hate mmo mouses, they are way too big. I am using a gpro wireless and it pwns so hard. But if you only play arena and can get used to big annoying mmo mouses thats the way to go.

There are enough binds on the keyboard to be able to use a non mmo mouse.

stop trolling

I’m not trolling, if 12-button computer mouses disappeared I would stop playing WoW, the game is UNPLAYABLE without one. That said, they are terrible. The shape should (and could) be improved massively, but more importantly the quality and feel of the m1 and m2-buttons on all of these mouses are terrible. Way too soft.

but it’s not
