so the level of mobility exactly the same as promised in the blue post rework teaser
this is great, ret will retain its unique design, the last thing this game needs is another generic melee with generic gap closers
“unique design” you mean being the only class without a gap closer? great design. how about we remove taunt from 1 tank to make that class also have “unique design”

Like why. Part of the goal of this rework was the movement. Now, don’t be confused, I was very happy to see Ret’s getting some love (to the point they had to turbo-nerf it in PvP) and the Spec ultimately feels more fun to play… when you are in range. When you’re not, tough luck.
Exactly why they thought removing our root was a good idea i do not know they talk about giving players choices yet they add and remove other things they are just doing such a bad job with ret
Traps can miss and a hunters defense doesn’t exist. The 40% damage reduction does nothing against a paladins burst and turtle has a 3 min cd. Slowing and rooting a paladin isnt even possible anymore cause they got freedom, the horse and 20 yards on their abilities.
Paladin is “nearly” a REAL midrange fighter at the moment (not this strange static Lizards that fells awful while playing, at least for me)
But you can still “kite” a Paladin very easy and they cant just “Charge” or “leap” into an aktiv battle.
Movement in PvE (m+) feels fine. Not sure about Raid but if i know 1 boss i dont want to play Retri then it is Raszageth^^ (Awfull desing for some classes)
