Quick question, is the new rotation starting wednesday? I know it new season but for some reason i have a niggle in the back of my head saying the mythics come out the week after

Yes, Wednesday.
“New season” means raid and M+ change.
You’re thinking of when there’s a new major patch and the new season doesn’t start until a week later. That’s when the change in M+ rotation is delayed.
