I kinda like doing Delves, both solo and with friends or in pugs but, and yeah this but depends on the groups dps output, this seasons Nemesis and especially his minions inside the delves are simply boring!
I had him spawn a couple times now and surviving it is no big deal if you have more than one braincell but killing him just takes forever.
Same goes for his minions for the nemesis chest at the end. They mostly do nothing at all beside the explosive one have you dodging a little but their hp pool is so massive that they are nothing else than bunching bags.
If they were optional, fine, I couldn’t care less about the reward from the chest but they almost always spawn in the middle of small hallways so unless you have a warlock or rogue you have to kill them.
As I said, the fault kinda is not having enough dps, but I don’t understand the design choice of them being boring. I rather have them squishy but threatening by oneshoting me if I mess up than spending more time in a single delve than a mythic+ dungeon.
Is it just me (and the people I’ve delved with so far) that thinks this is just badly made and absolutly boring to play against?
I haven’t found the Underpin encounters inside Delves or his minions to be too tedious to be honest.
The Underpin encounters last maybe 1-2 minutes tops? Likewise his minion packs only feel slightly bulkier than the regular mobs - taking only an extra 10-15 seconds to deal with.
difficult means tedious nowadays what do you expect?
I had the Underpin spawn on me at the end boss of Sidestreet Sluice.
Luckily I could just kite them both easy by running up the stairs and hopping off, to teleport back up having them yo-yo back and forth
I had him spawn immediately after pulling all the Gold Shamans - needless to say that was a fun pull
