How about new behaviors for the NPC? It will enhance the realism of the NPCs and make the game ever so slightly more alive and they will replace behavior of some current creatures.
At the moment we have Aggressive (Red) they aggro everything within a certain area
And Defensive (Yellow) Only attacks if you attack them.
I only came up with 2 that could work, if you have any suggestions write in the comments
New behaviors
Territorial (Orange): Meaning the range they aggro you is much shorter, almost up in thier face. They may give territorial signals if you come too close as a warning such as growling or roaring. But if you attack thier allies for example thier cubs, they will attack you.
Can be applied to animals such as bears.
Skittish (Blue): Skittish creatures are timid and will flee when approached by players. They wonβt attack unless cornered or close to allies, but if attacked, they may call for reinforcements from nearby allies.
Can be applied to animals such as deers, or imps?
