The time has come for a new “Doh!” thread for all those salty old timers out there, myself included.
I just realised today, that my under used Evoker currently has a 200K self or target, instant heal. I unashamedly admit I knew I had the heal, but not once, until today, did I notice the “heal self” part.
Currently, because it’s not level 80 yet, was 197K before the latest level up.
So, come one, come all ye old saly veterans. Where are you newest Doh! moments.
My alt Warlock had a disturbingly low itemlevel even though I had quite a few good items from the various caches you can get and things like Vault loot. Then I did an actual close inspection of my gear and as it turns out, my ilvl was so low because I was wearing a ilvl140 neck I picked up as I spammed TW leveling her. OOPS.
I got a cheap ilvl 567 neck from the AH and it shot up like rocket on new years eve, haha.
Old ones, probably like every long-time player before the changes, I went into battle many times wielding a mighty……. fishing rod, after forgetting to re-equip my weapon. And putting some intellect on my rogue (because I wanted him to be well rounded).
More recently I keep fel-rushing or Dracthyr hovering over ledges you can’t get back from, and I wasted loads of time when TWW launched because I didn’t see the extra action bar button for the memory gem quest when you first get to Dornogal.
When I was playing in TBC it wasn’t till I was in the 40s that someone pointed out I didn’t use my talent points.
