RTX 3060 would be fine for 1080p/1440p but if you can squeeze RTX 3060 Ti / 3070 that would be better, especially if you want a new ultrawide display to get max immersion in WoW. 3070 Ti is a bit overkill unless you want a high refresh rate and high resolution (but that also requires a top-of-the-line CPU).
You can ask them if they have an option for:
Ryzen 5800 X3D + RTX 3070 or RX 6700 XT (or better if you want more for more $) - for a kind of top-tier system
12400F + RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6600 XT - for much cheaper but good system.
I think a maximum of 1500 euro is what i keep. I have read that wow itself doesn’t need to be run on a 3000 euro pc
Not sure if I will play any other game in the future but it can be posible ofcourse.
So to be safe, going for option 1 wouldn’t be too bad? Got enough ram, memory and good video card maybe for heavier graphic games,…?
Yes, right now it’s 12400F for cheaper options, then 5800X3D for top tier but still cheaper memory and motherboard. The new Intel 13000 and Ryzen 7000 get way more expensive, Intel top chips run super hot on top of that - they do compete or beat 5800X3D but at a much greater cost.
So if you want to be other-games-safe then 5800X3D + RTX 3070 or better or Radeon RX 6700 XT or better. Right now it looks like AMD is discounting their existing GPUs due to the imminent announcement of next-gen so if there is a big sale on RX 68** / 69** XT you can go with those demolishers. I would just wait till like 3rd of November to see what the new cards will do and at what price point. Existing cards will have to move down in price or just pick a new one whatever is better priced.
