Wanne buy a gaming pc for my son for his birthday but don’t really now much about setups so i wan’t to ask of this setup is good for him he plays WoW, FF14, diablo and some shooter games (Ryzen 7 9700X - 32GB DDR5 - 2TB SSD - Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB)
That’s a very solid PC, altough i would recommend one important change, the CPU.
Especially for WoW, the CPU is the biggest bottleneck and i would strongly suggest you go for a X3D CPU since WoW benefits extremly from the extra L3 cache.
The fastest CPU would be the 9800X3D, the 2nd fastest the older 7800X3D.
Difference is like 20-25% FPS.
In general gaming the X3D CPUs are the way to go atm.
Also, i hope that your son has a proper gaming monitor with a higher resolution than 1080P and a high refresh rate like 144hz or higher, otherwise the 9070 XT will be overkill 
i will change the CPU to X3D one

Yeah that’s a good fit for the GPU
