New playable races with full transmog options?

I was wondering if the next new playable races will have any full transmog options, like a normal humanoid model without hooves, robot limbs or the pointless drakthyr who keeps changing into dragon form.

I’m looking for a list of new playable races, full transmog head to toes, and all new as in no high elves who would just be a recycled version of blood elves.

So what is on the table? Ogres for horde.
Nothing comes to mind for alliance.

That’s it? No pure, fully transmoggable new races in sight.
We probably going to get naga that shapeshift like drakthyr, ogres, high elves, maybe krokuun goat faced boys.

Not that I care, since the racial design in wow is absolutely pathetic and useless without any real depth or build changing qualities. Just curious what they could come up with.
More interested in proper class/spec reworking.

But on this topic, what do you think, the end of new races is around the corner?
The bottom of the barrel has been scraped for years.

what’s wrong with hooves?

Whilst I have some agreement that it’s annoying being limited to Elves and Humans for that kind of enjoyment.

I wouldn’t want Blizz to limit their creativity just because of transmog.

Also, I’m not really pushing for any new races at the moment.

That’s it, they most likely add high elves for alliance, ogres for horde,
then a “dark valkyres” (purple) for horde and “holy valkyres” (golden) for alliance.
Cya in a few years I told you so.

Always had the idea for Ethereals and the Brokers, but they’d need a major overhaul for more transmogs.

Maybe if Shadowlands wasn’t so awful, we could have gotten some rather strange new races?

Alliance could have gotten the souls of High Elves in porcelain-style vessels. Maybe mix in some Night Elf souls too, to be really grim. Similar in shape but with decent modifications to armour to allow they to work correctly.

Horde would have gotten some sort of half-revenant two-headed ogre race that was “half-in, half-out” of the Shadowlands.

The silly link between these two races would be that they can be a mix of two classes at creation. It’d be a balancing nightmare for sure.

I have been an advocate of Undead of Every race kind of thing forever, and that Undeads / Forsaken should split off to their own faction VS Ally+Horde joined.
Would be cool with more undead versions of every race (And I ain’t talking just DK-appearances here!)

Nah, just give them all skeletons! No need for armour - just a sword! Tbh, though, they could go this way eventually.

It may take absolutely years but with a bit of decent writing, you could make the Major Factions very “distant” from the player character. A bit like in D&D where you have your race, but that might not stop you banding together with others of a different enemy Faction.

Then they just need to shear off the Undead. Create a new Scourge. Maybe let the Night Elves and Worgen split off to form their own thing too?

Undead types of every race makes sense, having Nelfs and Worgens split off doesn’t add as much.
Forsaken have always had a very iffy relationship with horde, from the get go, and they contrast heavily against the beleifs of the other races.
Meanwhile Worgen + Nelfs do not vary as extremely.

Arguably, tho, we could have Nelfs and Tauren become their own thing…

As for all being just skeletons;
I got a noggenfogger addiction… I admit it. :skull:

Well, if we split the races into 4, we’d have the “Tribal”, the “Imperial”, the “Nature” and the “Definitely Evil” Factions.

I feel that the Night Elves and Worgen have a closer bond than Night Elves and Tauren, simply because of how the Elves helped the Gilneans with their curse. That said, the Gilneans are still human and so might be better tied with the “Imperial” Faction…?

You could just have the Dwarves and the Gnomes shore up in the mountains and tell everyone else to screw off!

An Undead Faction would most likely be the evil Faction. Like SWTOR’s Empire. Sure, you can spare lives, but you’re going to be burning down houses to build more tombstone manufacturers!

Why not just roll a human then?

How would you feel if they brought in things like half Orcs and so on?

Good lord finally cya i hope i never see you again complaining at everything
