I started playing for the first time yesterday. I got my Human Warrior to Level 18 without difficulty, except I am completely unable to kill a couple of specific enemies: Old Frostclaw (group quest - can’t find one) and Lugeia (a siren that captures Flynn during “Lured and Allured”).
I have tried and tried to find help online and in-game and each time I come up short. I don’t want this to sound like a complaint, but I expected this game to be a bit more accessible. I was hesitant, although eager, to play this game in the first place, because it seemingly had such a big learning curve. Despite attempts by Blizzard to make the game more and more accessible, the built-in tools are more or less, well, useless.
Newcomer chat is dead, General chat users are unwilling to even offer a bit of advice to, let alone team up with, a scrub, I can’t find a guild with more than one active member and communities are either empty or are designed for max-level content.
I know it sounds like I am whinging, but I am actually not trying to, it’s just that I have so many questions and I have exhausted all other avenues (just made a reddit account, but it must be at least 3 days old to post in most subreddits) and I am really eager to play more of the game, but being unable to kill an enemy as part of the main story means I’m stuck.
So, does anyone have advice about killing this enemy (talking about Lugeia)? Should I run a dungeon to get better gear?

Hey mate the reason you are having difficulty is because the intro quest for BFA for many characters is bugged meaning no one can enter BFA content since yesterday unless they levelled via exiles reach and di not skip a certain SW quest when exiting exiles reach, BFA zones are emptier because of this.

I do remember myself when i started back in WoD. What you say is 100% true and its sad but… You see wow is a game lasted for 15+ years now and has advanced so much, you have to be a bit patient and you eventually will blend in.
The problem is, without achievements as curve or good logs youre going nowhere.
Try to join a small guild, raid with them as a social, learn mechanics and how your spec works impress them to make it to core team. Then youre ready to blend in.

It’s a very big game and as other have stated before, its advanced through 15+ years.
The best thing to do is find a social guild. they can help with levelign questions and problems. Its mostly easy to fins one by typing /2 in any city area and asking to join a social guild. The members there can help you level up and answer your questions.
