About me:
I just started playing a few weeks ago, I’ve played in the past but this is my first time reaching endgame. I’ve only been doing solo content, but am having a lot of fun!
My characters are:
Level 80 Human Arcane Mage, ilvl around 602, can play comfortably in solo but no experience in group content.
Level 70 Pandaren Mistweaver Monk, still learning the basics here.
What I’m looking for:
I’m looking for a guild that’s patient with new players, and hopefully has some people who wouldn’t mind helping me learn the ropes. I’d like to try Mythic+, Raids, with both my mage and mistweaver, with people who aren’t going to be too upset if we repeatedly wipe while I’m still learning.
I’m really looking to improve, but am starting with very little knowledge (e.g. I see people saying to use oils, flasks, consumables, enchants, etc. I don’t really know where to start with all this).
I’m happy using voice chat in small groups, and listening in larger groups.
The main criteria for me is a supportive and patient environment. Ideally I’d like a guild that’s active enough that most evenings there are people up for doing group content together.

We’re a small, no-voice (text-only) guild focused on creating a relaxed space where players—especially newer ones—can learn group content without pressure. We love helping each other out and taking things at a comfortable pace.
That said, we might be a bit too small right now for what you’re looking for. We don’t have people online every evening for regular group content just yet, but we are slowly growing, and our short-to-midterm goal is to form M+ groups. We do 10man raiding Monday evenings, everyone’s casual and very friendly, we just aim to learn after each wipe, we have a few experienced players in the guild who would be happy to help you out and fill any knowledge gaps about the game.
Each season we typically clear normal to learn all the fights and start progress on Heroic raids.
We do M+ during the week/weekend casually also.

But just in case others are reading this and are in a similar boat, looking for a genuinely friendly guild which is all about bringing people who are new, or not played in a while, or just want to group who will support any skill level - then Falthrien Academy could be for you.
It is specifically targetted for new or returning players who want a slower pace and but want to do content. We have people who have not played the game in years, a little lost turn into leaving our guild for a more hardcore approach. And we are fine with this. We want to allow people to play the game how they want to play and not be judged for it.

We’ve been around for almost 18 years and we’ve always valued the people behind the keyboard, over the pixels. We’re a friendly guild whose members enjoy M+ and raiding (we start with Normal raid and progress into HC raid, aiming for AotC). If there’s enough interest, we’ll happily dip our toes into early Mythic bosses, but if there’s not enough interest, we don’t
There’s no requirement to raid, if you prefer not to. We have scheduled M+ runs as well as the scheduled raid - but you’re not limited to this, as most of our members run M+ all the time
Our raids are Sunday and Tues night, and our scheduled M+ are currently Thurs and Fri nights (currently doing an availability review, so this might change) - all our events are set for 21:20 - 23:00 server time; so its a shorter window than most guilds run, but it allows for fitting in some fun with guildies around IRL commitments (and sleep!)
We’re looking for team-minded people who enjoy doing content with fellow guildies and are always happy to invest in new players who have this mindset as well.
