New player PvP frustration

Hello I am new in PvP and honestly I do not know what I am doing wrong, I am getting a bit frustrated, but I just feel hopeless if I run into some comps, I do not know if it is a general knowledge but I have no clue what to do with:

Mage/Rogue or mage in general, I play a warrior and even though I am trying to min max my gapclosers, I even try to mount into the mage and slow him so I do not waste charge, whenever I try to not go a goose chase against the mage, I just get stunlocked by the rogue and die in 3 seconds while my healer is watching from polymorph, or sap, or blind, because he can insignia one CC but not the other 999 they seem to have.

Discipline priest, they just seem a bit over the top, when I meet assa rogue with priest it seems almost impossible to go for the priest, but I must go for the priest at all time, the damage they can do when I leave them unchecked is just not fair compared to other healers.

With Rogues, they just seem to do everything better than a warrior, every time I get a kill potential on them, they kidney me, or vanish or sprint, insignia out of my stun anything, I am trying to save bladestorms to not be CCable when I get kill potential, but then they just evade or vanish. If I die by the sword I just usually die to the bleeds + the disc or mage they are with.

Can I please ask for some advice on this ? I played a few games of solo shuffle and there I have 1700 rating which is not much, but I feel more comfortable there, because we cannot run into a booster and if we have someone having an alt and being high on their main, they get rotated with each team.

Thank you all for any helpful inputs !

EDIT: Also one more question, there seem to be these web sites that straight up offer arena rating boost, I have found this up after seeing in some arenas that there is a player that clearly does not fit there and is usually with a lower geared player. How is this not bannable, so far I have been reporting these boosters with Gameplay Sabotage, but is Blizzard doing anything with it at the moment ?

Go on youtube and watch some high rated players talk about how to play warrior in arena. Best advice I can give.
And be patient while learning. It can be a slow grind.

Bajheera is a good warrior or Blizo

Find another game, Seriously. This game is 100% not worth your money if your only looking to pvp. The class balance is an insult. A blind man running for the bus could tell you the 2-3 most broken classes atm and every week they remain unchanged.

Thank you for the recommendation to watch Bajheera, I have learned a lot about focusing from a few videos, 95% of the time he just glues himself to the disc priest.

Still sometimes I feel like that there are some players that are not supposed to be there, we had an arena yesterday where it was me and my Rshammy vs Arms/Disc, me and the Arms did 2m damage, the disc priest did 2.1m with me mostly focusing him.

And to the “Find another game”, I quite enjoy WoW, I am mostly an M+ and raiding player, but me and my friend wanted to try ourselves at PvP, I am mostly happy about around 50% of the games we have, even if we loose we can see what we could have done better and we grow. But this post was more about the frustrating classes, we can beat Disc and a Rogue if they are our “skill-level”, I tunnel the priest and the rogue stacks on me, meaning I cleave both of them and the priest cannot keep up with the speed, but the smart rogues have either one of us in 40% overall CC and the priest is un-killable wall due to that.

Thank you all for the suggestions !

Just stick to your warrior, learn press to 2 buttons, maybe 3, but never 4. Don’t you dare press any deff ability! Run behind the pillar, rotate the targets randomly and success will come.

The main problem here is the game is not balanced around 2v2. Its dobe around 3v3 so there will always be some apecs waay more powerful in 2s than seems fair.

Right now assa and disc damage is too much for sure in 3s but in 2s its a nightmare.

Arms are also very strong in 2s but just not in god mode like assa rogues.

Yesterday out of boredom i was playing m+ keys on my shaman and realised how relaxing this game can be without the constant frustration of PvP:D i love to PvP but this system needs some serious rework

Playing rated 2s is not considered a good experience nowadays. I would recommend against this, if you’re a new player. You’ll only play against disc/assa or RM so not really worth it. Skirmishes, solo shuffle and bgs are more fun overall.

Watching live streams will help alot.

Not a good advice for a begginer, It is like if you start playing chess and watch world tournament to learn things. My best advice is to get Started in PVE/do some random bgs/skrimishes on the side. First get know your class CDs, when to use them etc, after long PVE grind m+/raid progress you will be confident in your class, and master the muscle memory of your buttons. That alone makes a lot of difference you dont have to be top player to reach higher ratings trust me, i know people who only played PVE all their time in this game and then They got Gladiator for the first time due to their class being broken that season. To reach something liek rank1 titles etc, you just have to play with same people- liek same 3 people doing 3s etc, you know each other well and just grind for a very long time and eventualy it will be trivial, I know Former R1 glads and some of the current/recent ones from Sl this is what they all tell. And that is the reason you see same people mostly with theese ratings its no rocket science. The reason why it is very hard to gain rating with random people is not because of skill issues, ofc it is a thing but im talking about higher brackets like 2k+ where you have people who are masters of their class atleast. But the true reason is you play with different people everytime, you do not know your playstyle, you dont talk to each other etc. That is why if you lets say have 3 players who just started and know each other for a long time and play 3s only together, and i have seen than for myself in guilds i have been in as i play for almost 15 years. For example 3 people who were Real life friends and new to pvp in my guild played 3s only together and with nooone else and in one year got to Gladiator with Grinding arena together, this was when Gladiator was not 2,4k but % based too. This is the truth about it. Now they get gladiator each season since then as i have them on my btnet still.

You just find a r1 atreamer who plays your class. Most of them do class and spec guides where they lay things out simply, give you the build they are using and talk you through gearing, stats, and how the damage rotation works. Its good for getting a solid foundation to start from.

As a new player you need to be told:
Which stats to go for on your gear.
Which build works well.
How to set up your dmg, aka rotations/priorities.

Because as a new player you don’t have the understanding to figure these things out for yourself.
So watching high rated players is the best thing you can do.

no bajheera is ok the insane warriors are the competetive ones merce blizo and back than joefernandes was untouchable hes the only bcon champion warrior player
