I’ve only managed to cap one profession so far but it would be nice to do something with the points I can’t spend and the system keeps telling me I have 
Oh this will be really useful, I’m starting to built up alot of KP I have nothing to spend on.
But then, what do I spend the Mettle on? 
I think I’m fine on the mettle front.
I got around 6000 mettle 
In the meantime i need around half a year doing everything to max out my first knowledge (herbalism). So i suppose that is going to take more like 8-9 months. I wish we could buy knowledge with mettle instead.
If only there was an alternative way to give like 100-250 mettle for 10 points. Some professions like BS and LW have loads of nodes to fill. 
And make those knowledge points BoA.
Even better incase you wanna allocate them on an alt incase you capped both your professions.
Ye for instance.
The only two professions I’ve leveled are Alchemy and Herbalism. And I dont feel any urge to level any other profession with the current system.

Yeh, at this point, the ability to send KP around to alts would be more useful than trading them in for a Resource I have far too much of already.
I am scared by so much pink.
They are my profession army, mostly and then a couple extra.
Yeh, I think it’s pretty clear from this example that anyone who has 10 KP to spend on 25 Mettle, is going to have more than enough Mettle already.
10KP is too valuable to whilst maxing out your talents to waste on just 25 Mettle. And when KP no longer holds value, you already have the mettle.
This change just shows no thought to the system by Blizzard. This does nothing for any type of player, Casual or Hardcore.
We definitely need some kind of mettle exchange or vendor.
This is probably for those that exploited the digging piles at start…
I believe every change is in favor of the 1%…
What about mettle exchange for smth else…I have like 6k …sitting in the bank doing nothing…
The idea with mettle for KP is very good…I would love that,I still have quite a few nodes in Lw and Bs needing KP.
I gave up on professions once I was 3-4 months into the expansion at max level and still buying rank 2 gems, consumables and enchants on the AH despite having alts with the correct profession.
Either I hadn’t been religiously doing every source of knowledge on every alt every week, messing about digging up piles or dirt, or I could make the rank 2 but it’d be cheaper selling the mats because rank 2 is simply a by-product of better crafters trying to make rank 3.
Just my experience.
