Imagine a PvP Playbook or Season Pass that can be purchased exclusively with in-game gold - no real money ! This playbook would have a series of engaging and challenging tasks specifically tailored for PvP-Player.
Playbook:
Players will have tasks such as dealing a certain amount of damage or providing healing in BGs and Arenas. Or carry a flag XX meter, or anything fun/challenging. These objectives can be achieved in both rated and casual playlists(or wpvp), making it accessible to all skill levels.
To add more flavor and fun, there would be class-specific challenges. For example, a warrior might have a task to ‘finish off opponents using the Execute ability’. Or as Rogue keep people XX sec. in stuns…etc.
rewards:
Completing tasks and challenges in the playbook will earn players various cosmetic items. These could include: Cosmetics, Special Elite Set and a normal set, Titels…you know what players want.
I had this idea end of SL and made a post and people liked it and i remembered it when Venruki talked about a similar idea last weeks/days.
I know it will maybe not fix the mmr problems but still…there is no reason to play pvp atm and there is srsly almost never a reason to play bgs (only for fun, and gearing at the start of season).
If there is no playerpower behind i think there is almost no risk to implement it.

Bro its just an idea. If everbody is like you and dislike it instant and are pessimistic the devs will not do anything, we can stop playing the game. But i only can speak for myself. Maybe its not the best idea, if people dont like it
And the Trading post i never ever looked up any task and get everyth done every month without pvp even needed.
What is Elite about a participation reward? Why does everyone need to be special? What if someone just afks or bots in bgs, then he gets elite set? Kek.
IDK what to say to this. So we should not do it because bots could do all the challenges and people would use the bots? Special is meaning maybe different color of the elite set. So you dont want good cosmetic rewards? Srsly i dont get it, how is this a valid argument not to implement it.
There is already too much cosmetics in the game, which ruins it anyway. 90% of all the cosmetic stuff in the game, including mounts should be removed, because it makes nothing even matter anymore, nothing has any value to it, its all shiny, all looking like a god would wear it, even if its a quest reward to kill 10 murlocs.
Every armor that is given for free becomes boring, and by definition not special.
Its your opinion bro. I respect that and i partly understand it. But i dont think giving only special reward to the 5% player, dont worked out in wow. Do you believe if there was only rly special rewards for glads (like back in the day) would make people play more pvp ? especially casual playmodes and wpvp? I think this would be the death of pvp. Imagine it only rly rly good player gets unique rewards(Gladiators). Legit noone would play pvp outside of the 5%.
But thats my opinion and i dont say they shouldnt give more special rewards for the top players.
I don’t need to imagine anything, I play the game, there are now rewards for every single skill level, starting from 1000 CR with the vicious mounts. There is nobody worse then 1000 CR in WoW, so that means a participation reward exists for literally everyone. There is also the PvP sets that are participation rewards, not the elite one, but the normal recolor, everyone can get them with conquest points, and older ones with Emblems of honor or whatever they are called.
