New PvP trinkets for 9.2

Hello PvP player, at normal we love too point at each others specc or class and discuss against each other but there is a new enemy in town how will make for all off Us PvP worst, so let us unite and stand as one man against this fail

The new PvP trinkets, special 3x triunwards trinket witch will protect u from 3 interrupts or incoming CC effekts

  • Gladiator’s Devouring Malediction Drain up to 0 absorption from all nearby enemies over 3 sec, then unleash it in a 15 20 yd cone in front of you as healing absorption. 3 sec cast (Channeled). 2 min cooldown. 3 min cooldown.
  • Gladiator’s Echoing Resolve (New) Duration of incoming crowd control effects increased by 20%. Does not stack with similar effects. When affected, protects from the next spell interruption and crowd control effect, persisting for 30 sec. PvP Talent. PvP Talent.
  • Gladiator’s Eternal Aegis Activate the defenses, absorbing 50% of all Magic damage taken, up to 0, persisting for 60 30 sec. Cosmic damage is fully absorbed. Instant. 2 min cooldown.
  • Gladiator’s Fastidious Resolve (New) Activate the Broker defenses, protecting yourself from spell interruption and crowd control effects. The defenses withstand up to 3 effects and persist for 30 sec. Instant. 2 min cooldown.
  • Gladiator’s Resonator Throw the cosmic resonator which explodes after 4 sec, dealing 0 Cosmic damage split between all nearby enemies. Damage is increased for each enemy struck, up to 5 enemies. 30 yd range. Instant. 3 min cooldown. 2 min cooldown.

2x legy, a set Boni and then this, there is no way PvP will be balanced…
Pls remove them

Note to Blizz: We do not want stupid gimmicks like this, I know you think they are fun, but they are not. They are very very much the opposite of fun and we are getting tired of things like this.

just thinking of such pvp trinkets is dumb. publicly announcing and releasing them is beyond my believe.

rip RMX (not that i feel sorry but frankly, this trinket alone completely destroys that comp and that’s so dumb i can’t put it into words)

I mean… those kind of trinkets will destroy any set up comp, including every fdk comp/rm/jungle etc.

Such trink should not go live, no matter what. Unless idk, it’s a magic buff and can be purged, but even then is still incredibly strong.

Yeah sure. I wanted to name jungle as well but deleted it because in the end i would have had to name many more comps then so i just reduced it to RMX being the ultimate setup comp.

I mean, i play ret/affli and even we rely on setups for a kill. Not sure if i can continue playing this comp with these kind of trinkets in the game. :man_shrugging:

And if they make the buff purgable the trinket instantly becomes useless. There is no balancing possible. It should not go live this way. The only comps that benefit from these are zugzug comps.

With all the warriors, monks, hunters causing havoc, where is the equivalent to physical dmg?

We can’t know the outcome before we play with them.

We can predict it with 95% accuracy.

There will be tier set bonuses as well which means a lot of variables. Perhaps these trinkets will be a must have in order to survive or kill.

I mean… is easy to predict. Ret-war/turbo amd ww-war zugging your healer down without any poasibility of ccing

Why are they doing this. Just leave basic trinkets and even remove maledict. Such things don’t add anything to the game. They just make certain things broken and other things unplayable.

If they aren’t going to take it out. They should at least nerf the fastidious to 2 and reduce its duration. They should also make it exclusive to healers. Xpac has been burst meta so far so at least give them some girth to deal with the oneshots coming from those x2 legendaries in 9.3.

If you think a little bit instead of raging, you will come to a conclusion : there are 2 ways to stop people that burst you. First - cc them, second - use defensives. That trinket forces you to respect your opponents and waste your def cds instead of laughing and spamming poly/fear in your precious mage+lock+healer comp or similar.
