New Queue System won't let you face the same team multiple times

As many (higher rated) players have probably already noticed, the queues are way longer than they used to be and this is not only caused by less people playing in general.

In Fact, the new queue system that was introduced in 8.1 works like this: If you faced a certain team in Arena - no matter if you win or lose against them - you won’t be able to face that team again for a certain amount of time.

Now I personally haven’t tested the exact time, but I’d assume the cooldown to be somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes because that’s when we usually played against the same teams again

This system was likely introduced to prevent win trading and rating inflation, so I don’t think it’s too bad of a system.
However I do think that they should’ve waited for the new season to introduce something like this because right now, high rated players will stay on their rating while lower rated players have no chance to get to the upper parts of the ladder…

What do you guys think of it?

Trying to use different talents in twos, Just for all round practice. Face one team lose, never get to face them again.

the new system is pretty annoying imo, sitting in que for like 8 minutes even though there is a team at the same mmr queing feels pretty bad

it’d be fine in an active game.

WOW pvp is terribly inactive these days, a queue session probably contains what 10-20 teams if you maintain similar MMR. At the top of the ladder probably half that

Queue is down because of the 50% trait nerf to like 23 abilities. Nobody wants to queue when this could trigger dampening games…

I just made a reddit post about the issue, I also did the same about xunamate in legion and managed to get it “nerfed” so It’s kind of sad they don’t read their own forums but heres the post if you want to hear my opinion/thoughts on this change and hopefully grab their attention to actually do something to fix it.
