Knowing what we know about drakthyr at the moment and their class, and their abilities to Dragon Flights, Bronze, Green, Red and blue…
And their specs to be either DPS or Healer, wouldn’t it make sense to Add black dragon flight and maybe mix with blue or red for tanky spec or something more like disc priest ?
Because how come if you were created by being of black dragon, but you are not able to use its powers in game as player ?
I am only curious about it, like how come no mention black dragon flight powers for its both specs ?
Wow has a fine history of spells, abilities , attacks, or simply weapons and stuff, where class npc could use it, it would make perfect sense for players class to use it, but they simply dont .
U ask why? Because… nobody realy knows imho, but this isnt first nor last time something would make sense but it doesnt work .
There were a lot of people asking about a tank spec back when Evokers were first announced.
Mananged to dig up some answers from Ion about Black Dragonflight powers:
“Yes, I mean, I think the Black Dragonflight is certainly part of Dragonkind, and while they have some of their nefarious history with what happened to Deathwing and his descendants, Wrathion is a good ally of ours, and there’s subtle differences between the Black Dragonflight fire and the Red Dragonflight fire, but Dracthyr Evokers are uniquely gifted in being able to harness and channel the power of all of the Aspects and all of the Flights, so all of them will find a place in some form,” he said.
Black Dragonflight fire being referred to as merely a “subtle difference” makes it seem like it won’t be incorporated into its own specialization, but at the very least, we know it will be present in the Evoker’s rotation in some form (probably through the Devastation specialization).
aww thank you, hope at least we can “earth Warder” spells like earth skin for temporary buff or some earth shards like ogres in bloodmaul slag mines have spell like that.
Yeah they had a really good opportunity to make a new tank or utility spec there for third spec…Really lame they didn’t go for it, and Black Dragonflight could really fit into that .
No, I disagree hard. It makes 0 sense, that this thin evoker caster is a tank. If they got a tank, it would only exist, so it has a tank spec. It would just be useless bloat
Thematically, it would make 0 sense for evoker to be a tank. There are also more than enough tanks relatively. The game needed a caster/healer, that is as good designed as demon hunters.
Having more tank specs also doesn’t correlate to more tank players. It would simply just be a useless spec, that would make no sense, and only makes the game even more bloated, than it already is imo
i think this is just your opinion, you cant throw your opinion over others but it can be respected as everyone deserve to be heard and to their own speach.
knowing blizzard thats true well we can hope, would be nice even if they add one spell or passive of black dragon to any of those spec this class will have.
I hope in character creation also we can add red eyes or red flaming eyes XD and black scales ! just can’t wait for it to come out
