New Raid Consumable Buffs

For the LOVE OF GOD make them stackable please Blizzard. Takes longer gettting the items than doing a buff run… Would be nice to have them at least 5 stack and max allowed 5…

Also dont gatekeep the thorium one behind a dungeon… No one wants to clear a brd just for a buff.

It takes really a lot longer getting the items than a buff run to get all the buffs. Completely idiotic :joy::joy::joy:

But they are usable to all party/raid, so only 1 raid member should get them, right? So it’s anyway more effective then standart buffs that should be picked up individually by each member.

Ppl never happy

Who said i wasnt happy… Its a new item / process in the game. I was simply offering a suggestion, frustration with the changes. If people dont speak up nothing gets improved.

World buff consumables do not stack, do not go in keyring, are single use, are unboonable, replace buffs of the same type for the entire party/raid, and ARE REMOVED when the person who cast them leaves the group.

Just AHAHAHA, Aggrend why do you hate us so much?

no :poop: it takes longer to get the buff items than to do a buff run.
you’re not supposed to substitute your world buffs with these items.
you’re supposed to have them with you as a backup in case you die and lose the world buffs you have gotten the normal way, which you booned before going to raid.

slacks.

EDIT: that being said, the single-use thing is a bit dumb… maybe just give them a 6 hour cooldown or something… person leaving the group “dispelling” the raid is also mega yikes.

Eventually ppl will understand, ppl to blind to see atm

yeah not spending my commendations until last minute , this has to change. At 150g per buff item who tf is gonna use theirs even

Tryhards (goldbuyers).
Dev are still thinking that the majority of their base is tryhards so they are favouring them.
Seems “great idea”.
Huge drop of playerbase in P6 and also after Anniversary will show them reality, but it will be too late.

They dont want to make permanent buffs, because it will be “odd” and too easy. Imagine game designer who dont want to make people’s life easier and only make solutions for 5% of players.
Collecting wb’s in 2024 is so fun, yeah guys?

So much this.
World buffs with the current WoW players is absolute garbage. If it were only one like previous phases it’d be fine. Having to farm Worldbuffs all the time is just tedious, terrible game design.
It’d be somewhat better if they persisted through death at least, this way it’s just wrong on so many levels

Yeah it’s basically 5 Runecloth or 2.5 Leather per 20 raid members for one buff, def worth

If you think SoD is designed for tryhards, you don’t understand the word you use.

You two have no idea how terrible the game would be if we all ran with permanent world buffs. My paladin was close to full BiS PvP this phase. I did a premade run after raid night and didn’t reboon as the WB were soon to expire.
Full consumes and WB, I was basically the son of Sauron and the Lich King. Nothing outside raid bosses are tuned for geared character with WB. Of course you can’t expect them to be free.
At some point you have to realize that making content is not the same as catering for try-harders. If we were to listen to you guys, every phase would last 3 hours because everything would be either instantly available or utterly unnecessary.
Tedious requirements are the main mechanic behind WoW Classic. Try to roll on the fresh ERA server and get a toon to lvl 10, you’ll see how easy we have it with SoD.
If we removed all the farm/reput from the game there wouldn’t be much to do.

i have to agree with Galarhan here (what a rare occurrence).

guys, you have no idea just how accommodating SOD is towards self-proclaimed casual andies such as yourself.

  1. black lotus is 30-35g and can drop from every high level herb node.
  2. flasks are between 39-60g with the cheapest (least useful) ones being between 20-40g.
  3. all the flask recipes can be bought for tarnished reals (at 50 coins each) and are dirt cheap on AH.
  4. world buffs are boonable.
  5. world buffs can now be popped REPEATEDLY by EVERYONE who has completed the initial quest (such as Rend head, Ony/Nef head, Hakkar head etc.).
  6. DMF buff now has no cooldown.
  7. there’s literally people giving out DMT buffs free of charge.
  8. warlock summoning networks are a thing now that soul shards can be easily farmed in duels. resulting in the cost of summons being around 5-10g, whereas under normal circumstances you wouldn’t even have summoning networks, and the few you would have, would cost you at least 20g per summon (and another 20g if you waste the summoner’s soul shard in case you don’t accept).
  9. all professions got some kind of “transmute” mastery, allowing you to produce more than 1 item per craft.
  10. loot from raid bosses are abundant, to the point where clearing “hard mode” BWL gets you 17 bloody items ON TOP of Nef’s loot, from the 3 big loot boxes.
  11. pvp ranking is literally based around “collect points” without internal faction competition (do you have any idea how nice you got it?!)

guys, if you think this game is aimed at tryhards, you are completely delulu.
under normal vanilla circumstances, flasks would be 150-200g EACH and the recipes would cost you THOUSANDS of gold.
you would have no transmute mastery.
you would have no boons and thus suffer the dispel grief meta, which it sounds like you’ve never endured before.
you would have 1 single head turnin per world buff (and eventually starve).
DMF would be 1/4 weeks.
DMT would cost you 20-30g because hunters have a harder time clearing it in vanilla.
all tier pieces would drop as-is for whichever class (no tokens) and all bosses would drop about 2-4 pieces of loot each, to be distributed between 40 people.
you would never get above rank 7 in PVP due to the nature of the old ranking system in vanilla.

guys.
stop whining.
game is easier and more accessible than ever before.

wHAT THE POTATOE IS THIS S…T

Make the world buffs permanent and with a 30sec cooldown

I am tired of playing a warrior that is balanced out against world buffs and then sucks on everytihng els

Im quitting all Blizzard games after SOD is over f this company

Im very happy, its just a stupid item I wont care for

Explain? Why it will be terrible? Remove it in open world or in bg’s - no affection to pvp at all. Easy.
Also looking for every change in Sod - nobody gives a f about pvp. Son of Sauron lol. Touch the grass.

Path of least resistance, principle of least effort, optimization bias. These are well known things in the human psyche. If it’s available, people will go with it. Wb’a are in the game, it’s not gonna go anywhere. The benefit is too great as well. Where we cut time in raiding, we can enjoy the game elsewhere.

It’s not even that there is no joy in getting them. It’s just simply that there is absolutely nothing to it other than wasting time.

I’d rather have the buffs pop inside the raid and spend my time getting them on ither content like atm fragment farming for a guildie, the new blood moon event in STV, playing an alt. P7 will bring new content as well while, hopefully, keeping older content relevant

There are people raiding with multiple alts per week, having to sit afk on a gryphon/wyvern to get a buff.

But I get it, the “durrhurr just don’t do it” contrarian position is easy, but it literally doesn’t add anything to the future of SoD, which eas intended to be different from Classic.
