In fact, all bags need to have BETTER sorting functionality, so we can allow, or block certain type of items from being deposited in them. Yes, we do have some of this functionality, but it’s quite frankly so minimum that it’s laughable that it even exist in such form after 18 years of game development.
Anyway…
For example, I’m sick of removing meat from the new reagent bag, and all I want in it is my Skinning, and Leatherworking reagents, but NAH, game keeps putting meat, and other crap into the bag
Just because it’s a “reagent” bag, it doesn’t mean that people want every reagent in it.
Would you not be able to use a specific profession bag instead then? Reagent is for all reagents, I’d assume Leatherworking (and Skinning) share mats so having a Leatherworking bag instead would fit your needs better, no?
What I’d really love is a filtering when selling on AH, especially with the new quality system introduced. You gotta currently see what is sold for how much before deciding on the price. Probably one of the reasons why bronze quality items seem to be having higher prices than silver ones…
I actually checked and I think they seem to have been updated for Dragonflight! The standard reagent bag seems to be two slots smaller than a specific profession reagent bag, but that might’ve been due to quality differences. You can check it for yourself on the AH - it has a nice subsection for ‘bags’ from where you can also filter for your profession.
New bag overrides profession specific bag, and crafting mats are always looted into new bag instead, e.g. Leatherworking bag, and if it’s full, then it’s looted into other bags, so basically, crafting specific bags are pointless.
What we need, is “permission” functionality for specific loot, especially since the new bag isn’t even big enough for all reagents. So it’s crucial to have full control over what is automatically looted into this new bag.
