But what if I dont want to do Undermine?
I dont like it: map is big but nofly, many obstacles, many aggros, hard to visually navigate - I constantly look at the map more than at the world when driving; new delve is terrible - many patrolling mobs hitting in the back right when I thought its safe to pull this 25M mob and kill it alone, they also do a lot of pushback and cc - they pushed Brann off the ramp and he aggroed a gold elite so I ended up fightning FIVE mobs at the same time instead of one…
This is hard and I dont like it, in terms I can do hard things IF I like it (like Valheim if you know what I’m saying), but this Undermine is not likeable and hard at the same time.
I also not interested in story and lore, every good story twist ended with killing Deathwing, after that its all just too shallow. I have standards, I played Nier Automata. Blizzard will absolutely definitely never ever get anywhere near in quality and epicness and scale of that.
I just want to raid again, because I like it teamworking with my random fellow humans.
Woops, you’re right, I misread your initial comment. I thought you said you outgrew them with 615
I’ll have to be bad guy now. If you were a raider of content that requires knowledge, reaction, etc., then you’d have at least 610 from last season, since that’s what Heroic Nerub’ar Palace was dropping before upgrading it with crests. That’s higher than the requirement to enter Heroic dungeons and LFR in Season 2. But being a raider also means that you had farmed it enough to earn enough crests to upgrade your equipment, so you should have had at least 626 before Season 2 started.
-=EDIT=-
And even if there has been some massive bad-luck RNG striking you where you didn’t get a single drop from any raid instance you entered and the Vault constantly gave you every week the exact same items so that you couldn’t fill out your gear from that either, you still have crafting. You can craft your way to 630ish without the need of Sparks.
Yeah. You didn’t even tried it and claimed you only got rep and 10 crests.
For everything you make assumption it is SO BAD. Without doing it yourself. With claiming you actually speak from experience.
Go play the game. Have fun.
I only do LFR, because my guild fell apart in SL. I did not upgrade all of my gear because I was waiting for BiS drop. I’m sitting at all ‘raid finder’ gear at base level and I cannot upgrade it any longer.
If I skip the season - I will not have ilvl for season 3 when it comes.
I dont do pvp, ever, because I dont like zero-sum games.
I dont want to do Undermine storyline one more time after I did it twice on my main and my fav tank alt, because its hard in a way its obnoxiously annoying and filled with traps that lead me to death, and I hate dying randomly:
patrolling mobs that hit me in the back when I was fighting another, ok for tank, but for healer main its death;
lots of push and cc mechanics, that lead to pulling more mobs I can handle = death;
ranged mob jumps away into a pack of other mobs I didnt pulled yet: if I follow, they agrro and kill me, if I dont - I dont kill and dont proceed with questline; this c*-blockery is annoying;
I didnt have enough mobility to not die while fighting Nikki ar the end of “storyline”, died 3 times as a TANK, what chances I will try it with a healer spec? ZERO! I dont want to do storyline. I want stand in the inn with my alt and just spam dungeons and eventually LFR, thats it.
You see, if I unsub now, I will lose chances to get transmogs and I will most likely have to run raids solo 2 expansions later, just like I do now with Nathria and Sepulcher, but I cant solo DF raid, I tried it and failed at some point because of lack of dps. I dont want to proceed with playing current content because its obnoxiously hard, but I also dont want to cancel sub because I still will have to run current raids, but at distant future. I dont like this manupulation “fear of missing out” they apply on me, no other games do this dirty trick (expect one), dont want to proceed but cannot leave so stuck in place. The only option is to delete all characters and account altogether.
I dont understand the logic, what is the point of making normal dungeon gear non-upgradable and what was wrong with perfectly working system “normal dungeon > heroic > LFR” so they “fixed” it to a point it doesnt worn anymore? They wanted players to actually do the storyline, why? Why I absolutely must do it? To plow through packs of mobs killing me and backstabbing me from every corner, then die repeatedly because Blizzard implemented a mechanic not all classes can successfully deal with, leading to unnecessary death and frustration? I dont want to pay money to be frustrated and angry. Blizzard constantly fails to implement a lasting system that works through all expansions starting WOTLK. Every new season they throw out something new which is doomed to be removed altogether in a few months. Remember corrupted gear and its effects? It lasted for 1 season, then it was removed from the game. Siren Isle is obsolete too now. Blizzard jsut cant do it, they promise to fix it, but the fix is worse as it would never happened, they said it will be alt-friendly, but what they did is the opposite - I cant play my alts because they dont have enough ilvl and I dont want to do storyline because it obnoxiously annoyingly hard.
I want do the storyline ONCE, with my main, and be done with it forever.
For my alts, I want to stand in the inn and spam dungeons until I can get into LFR, then do LFR until expansion end. No intermediate steps, no crests, no valorstone farming, I want everything to be obtainable from spamming dungeons.
Buddy I don’t know what to tell you but if your are at all lfr items undermine should not pose a threat to you.
This character has done nothing in S1 cause I switched Main close to the end and she wasn’t even 80 until the day undermine got released.
I levels her and the I visited undermine and I had no problems at all
As prot it needs like 15 or more mobs to kill me and as arms I can handle up to 10.
And the Nikki fight was pushing all CDs and then playing my rota till she was dead.
How exactly these are contradictory? LFR IS raiding, maybe with less punishing mechanics, but we also dont have time to plan ahead, coordinate, and strategize.
That refers explicitly to Mythic raiding. LFR does not require any of the above. You can bruteforce 6 out of 8 with little regard to mechanics, you can bruteforce the 7th with a few Determination stacks, and for the last boss you only need 10 people out of 25 to do the mechanics.
