When do you think we will see, know a new Shadowlands release date? I’d assume we will know in the next 1 or 2 weeks since they said multiple times it will release later this year and i’d hope they don’t wait too much with the new date, some people might still want to take time off from work to play it.
Personally, before i get any hateful comments, i am glad for the delay and i think it’s a great step from Blizzard, it’s just the kid inside me that wants the date so i can look forward to a day i will be able to step into the new zones and finally experience the new expansion.
well considering hollows end started now, I think the invasion starts mid November, and SL might launch start of december before X mas, whit raids beeing delayd to January or so.
Even the reasons given for delaying it was ridiculous; “not ready, not polished etc”.
When was anything ready or polished in WoW since 2010 ? BfA for one was never ready and it’s still full of bugs. Every day I find new bugs and some are years old and have never been fixed. The game is broken in so many ways, so it was just stupid of streamers to ask for a delay. Even if it comes out next year it won’t be ready, it never will. The servers will crush as always cause they don’t stress test them with weeks of open beta. It will be full of bugs and it will never be balanced.
So, it realy doesn’t matter when it will come out.
If I had to bet though I’d say late november/early december.
But mark my words: it won’t be any different (I mean better) than if it was released this month.
As long as streamers know they make more money in the hype leading to the expansion, they will always keep asking for a delay, it’s not in Blizzard’s interest to release the game if it dies out after 3 weeks and all the hype is gone & people are back to watching & playing Classic.
Bottomline of any decision they make with this game is always money, seems it was financially feasible to delay it
Date announcement in November, release in February 2021 cause they take a long vacation on Christmas, new years etc
I highly doubt we will have pre patch for months and months, the longest pre patch we had before was 8 weeks and it was long.
Personally i do believe if the game was pushed to 2021, we still wouldn’t have pre patch.
I completly agree.
We also have to take in consideration the book that was supposed to come out one week before the original expansion release date “Exploring Azeroth” got pushed back to November 24th. This could mean the expansion could release that or maybe the next week.
So many things pointing towards the early Dec release, i am so excited.
I’m satisfied with the pre-patch for a good while. I think it’s taken the edge off for most people, so I think we’ll be seeing the first or second week of December.
Only issue with that is the Mythic world first race and the raid release would overlap the holidays, not sure if Blizzard cares about that.
here’s a 5head take i just learned from checking the ingame Calendar. No they 99% most likely won’t do that, but if they do, do it. It would be brilliant marketing.
WoW’s next Anniversary starts from Nov 16, imagine if blizz just said they release SL during that time.
