New shaman here which spec is better for fast leveling_

hi all sorry for boring lowbie question but i have to ask you.
Atm i really low level but i am confusing about what spec is better.
As enh i see a lot of miss and this impact on my damage slowing leveling process. I would like to try elemental but everywhere i go (i mean forums) i read only bad things on this spec (too RNG proc)
i play 80% time questing and 20% doing dungeons so i need clue to improve the damage to reduce time spent to kill mobs :smiley:

Been playing enhance shaman for about 7-8years. And I would say that deffenetly is the fastest levling spec. No downtime realy…Just"jump" from mob to mob. And you get instant healing due to the enhance spec :slight_smile:

Elemental and restoration specs share main stats which makes switching between them much easier. You can get into dungeons very quickly as a healer, though you are a bit less potent at open world questing.
Elemental is probably the go to spec for most people, and you could use cloth or leather intellect based heirlooms to level with (though you miss a small intel buff because of this at later levels).
If you really want to get into enhancement then level with it, but its slow at lower levels. And doesn’t get its good stuff until mid levels.

Level as enhancement, it’s much faster. No downtime, no boring casts, instant healing, and nice damage. At 120 for maximum performance I’d go elemental. Still waiting for Enhance buffs.

Absolutely agree. Got my HM Tauren from 20 to 110 in no time at all as enhance. Their AOE potential is almost god-like with crash lightning and the frequent stormstrike procs.
With the rockbiter talent there’s no downtime between abilities. You’re never waiting for something to come off cooldown (once you hit a certain level and unlock passives).
Having said that, the spec is so boring I wanted to put my head in the microwave.

Thank you both for clues. I am leveling the shaman i used as first talent lightning shield (the most suggested talent) but often (in dungeon) i have to stop hitting because i have my cooldowns up .
Using Boulderfist i should reduce downtime :smile:

I really hope that in the end the work you put in to level is worth it. I have levelled 2 of them myself and right now i just might quit till 9.0 cos the class does not feel good anymore - in any spec.

Just stating i’ve had a lot of fun levelling as elemental once i got to level 40.
