Defiance Demon Hunter
Theme:
Stone
Mastery:
The Demon Hunter gains X% leech.
Introduction:
The Defiance Demon Hunter has most of the abilities that Havoc has, to deal damage and leech life to himself, in order to heal others. The Demon Hunter does not have mana, but does have an added risk of dying, due to spending health in sted of mana. The synergy of combining the movement abilities help keep the Demon Hunter safer in combat, and allows for fast paced healing gameplay.
Ability ideas:
Take Pain:
Heal a friendly target for X% of the Demon Hunters health.
( Costs X% health. Off the global cooldown. )
Swap Life.
If the Demon Hunter has more life than a target friendly player, they swap health percentage.
( 20 sec cooldown. )
Stone Wing.
The Demon Hunter charges to an ally, and takes the next damaging attack. Damage taken can not exceed 50% of of the Demon Hunters total health.
( 2 charges 30 sec cooldown. )
Stone Form.
Turn to stone, and become immune to damage for 12 seconds. Your essence travels to the body of a friendly player and heals them for 5% of their maximum health per second. If the friendly player dies, so does the Demon Hunter. Stone Wing turns into Swap. The Demon Hunter can freely jump from player to player every 5 seconds.
( 2 min cooldown. )
Fling:
When in Stone Form, the Demon Hunter can fling his stone body to any location dealing damage on impact, and gaining health depending on the damage done.
( 5 sec cooldown. )
Playstyle:
Charge to your friendly backline caster using Stone Wing and block a hit that would have killed him. Leave your body behind to quickly dash back to the melee, and start healing the tank using Stone Form. Fling your stone body at the enemies to regain the lost health used to save your backline and reenter your body to open on the enemy with a flurry of attacks while keeping your friendly party members topped up with Take Pain. Your tank takes a massive hit, and is almost dead. Swap Life saves your tank, but puts you in a situation of having to regain your health, this is where your mastery comes in. With a large amount of leech, you are able to steadilly regain your health, by using a similar damage rotation know from the Havoc Demon hunter spec.

I just let my fantasy go wild. It’s nothing special, and most of you might not like the ideas. But I thought that I might as well share my wild ideas, and have some fun.
