New starter on the game

Hello,
I have just subscribed and enjoying the game.
I just want to know when levelling up do I get to play all the previous expansions (Except from the newest one)? For example, explore the zones and do the quests ect or will I just be levelling to 110 just doing general quests/dungeons??

There is a search function on these forums that would help you, or even just looking a few posts down the list. Quest until you run out in an area then move on to the next.

Basically the next 97 levels are similar to the first 13 quest and get XP.

You can’t really play old expansions as people did when they were current content, you can only quest in them.

Check your ingame mail, I’ve sent you some stuff.

Hi Rosecroft, great to see new players subbing I started quite late, and though the experience isn’t EXACTLY the same as if you played the expansion at the time, there is still LOADS to do, esp for a new player seeing the content for the first time.

really appreciate it! And thanks sooo much for the gifts! Currently level 22 and going strong, I think ive started a new quest line in Ashenvale which looks like a pretty cool area! I am off on weekends so will be playing a lot of it the next 2 days!

Hey Rosecroft!

Firstly, welcome to Azeroth!

The levelling experience will take you through all the zones at least, and you’re always free to explore at any point if you choose to - in terms of checking each expansion it will sort of cover that in the natural flow of quests. Many of the zones between 1-60 are different from how they were at the very start due to the Cataclysm however in essence they are still there and have available questing hubs. Beyond that the zones will lead you through each expansions natural path - and you can always return to them later when you’re higher level to try out the raids (either in a group or solo if you choose to!).
