Blizz is perfect example of cakeism.
On the one hand, they want players to accept that pixels arenât worth anything, so it doesnât matter if they give away once-exclusive content. But at exactly the same time theyâre âhey, these pixels are worth ÂŁ60 you should totally spend your money on this mountâ.
Until the mount collections get lost in the same way the guild banks were.

When they added the in game store. âDont worry we arent gonna add anything that gives other players an advantage, its purely cosmeticâ
When they added the brutosaur. âGet it before the expansion ends, it wont be available againâ
Lets face it, the company is disgusting and cares more for money than actually adding the mount behind an achievement that would give players something to do. Instead they see a lot of people want it and so they add it into the store cause they know people will go out of their way to buy it. Greedy, disgusting, hugely disappointing. I used to think it was such a great company. Now i wouldnât recommend it to anyone.

Im kind of proud that no one in Dornogal on my server is not mounted up on this overpriced joke of a mount.
At this point just add an official Blizzard Mythic raid, M+, Gladiator title/mount boosts in the shop. Also, add every legacy item and all the mounts in the game to the shop.
Are you implying there are as many brutos around as mammoths? Think for a second.

You realise the original cost way more right and has less functionality.
Not implying anything. Just think the quote didnât age well, if they wanted AH mounts to be exclusive. Not very exclusive if you can just drop cash to get one.

On my server Iâve seen several people on the old AH mount, almost as a sign of protestâŠ
Before the new bruto became available on one of my servers there was someone always standing near the AH with the old one to show off.
He must be brutaly sour now.

As someone who buys all the store mounts, Iâm gonna be passing on this one.
I didnât get the first Brutosaur because 5m was a little too much. I know people who spent 500 euros to get it tho.
As much as I love collecting mounts and as nice as the new Brutosaurus looks, wellâŠIâm not getting it.
- Paying 90 dollars for a mount is a little over the top.
- I bought the fox pet because it was for charity
- Ultimately disappointed the mount wasnât part of the charity, imagine giving that money for charity instead.
- 20th anniversary mount is a literal copy/paste of the blue bird from the store. Brutosaurus shouldâve been a 20th anniversary mount. It is even advertised as one. Man, this is somethingâŠ
Still, it does leave a bitter taste in mouth. Happy for those who got it, of course, and I could buy it if I wanted toâŠbut I just donât want to encourage this type of direction.

The reasons why you say that you donât buy it seem strange to me.
You say you bought all the store mounts (congrats, must have cost thousands of Euroâs) that are just pixels but then you donât want a mount that has actually useful functionality.

Indeed, when I get payment I treat myself with a 25 euro mount which isnât as frequent.
90 dollars is overkill to pay outright.
