i tell people at the start of the key and i have a macro i spam to tell people on the pull. Still don’t. They are stupid. 100% enemies

The people OP is talking about don’t use it even if you spam chat with “BL” or use it too late when they have finally read the message. From my exoerience it’s usually mages and shamans, which is the funny part, hunter have been solid for lust XD.

I love that i as dps have something else that benefits the team.Im fine with bloodlust on certain dpses.Just dont make bl cruicial.Let it be (if not already) posbile to down mobs without it,but easier with bl.
The issue is that, ever since the SL drum nerf, these classes are non-negotiable for m+.
15% penalty for not having a hunter/evoker/mage/shaman in your m+ group of 5 players, is just ridiculous.
And this is in addition to further group buffs some of these classes bring to the table, so the actual gap is way wider.
This is why you almost never see a group without at least one of these classes and if you do, you are likely in for a trouble, with such a well thought out group comp and informed leader.
Before anyone mentions: you can time keys without these classes, but you are making it a lot harder for yourself than it needs to be.
Like lets look at this group:
- pala tank
- monk heal
- rouge dps
- druid dps
- lock dps
Like, what is so wrong with this group? How is the 15% penalty warranted? That 15% can easily mean the difference between a timed and the depleted key, considering you can bl 3 times on most of the keys.
→ the drum nerf was simply a mistake and should be reverted
Had to call for lust like 4 or 5 times on the new dungeon last week and the mage still didn’t listen

IMO they should make all tanks post the MDT route they are gonna do at the beginning of the run. Including BL calls.
Its useful not only for BL, but to manage CDs. Both DD and healer CDs. Not to mention any skips with invi pot. Those have to be known with at-least 5 min in advance.
That’s just the pug life. What will you do about DPS who fail mechanics, you explain it to them and they still fail? Move their DPS to the tank as well?
If you can’t handle pugs don’t pug.

And have a tank use Lust to justify a big pull on a m+ and cry cuz we didn’t beat the boss for ‘lack of dps’?

Depending on difficulty ofc, but this is the case for 99.9% of times. BL is not really required for a grouo to kill enemies, however it is required for the group to kill them fast enough to beat the timer.
Most bls are at fairly standard points tho, if after the first few runs you can’t anticipate where to use it

No thanks. I refuse to have to look at DDs CDs to know if to cast BL now or in 10s… be telepathic genius that knows the tank’s route beforehand… ect…

I am very strict on this. Tank calls it. Dont care. If he dosent write BL on the /party then we will be the whole run with out casting a single BL.
In every single run, I say on the /party before the key begins: "hey Mr. Tank, when do you want BL? (and I suggest the “meta” casts) The 1st pack or 1st boss ? "
After the “ready check” if no answer… I click “not ready” and ask again. Until I get an answer.
And then, whatever they tell me to do, my answer is always “yes sir”. I wont argue when BL is cast and why. I got enough stuff to worry about in my plate.

That’s fair like I said before I think was doing a floodgate on priest and the mage refused to lust we couldn’t get past the first boss cos of it
Ah theres your first problem, you invited a mage for lust, its universally known that mages and shamans dont have BL, only hunters and evokers do but no one plays evoker so only hunters XD

Well that’s another level. If tank calls it. Party calls it and you still refuse well… dunno… L2P for that mage? 
I dont do that. If I read on /party BL I cast it. No questions asked.
