Hello guys, i finally decided to make a hunter, but from classic i remember that sometimes when you jump down ledges in dungeons your pet runs through the whole “normal path” and pulls everything.
Is this still the case and do i have to dismiss the pet every time i jump down a ledge?
Depends on the dungeon, sometimes they will teleport sometimes they will follow you all the way.
ah thank you, i was worried for newer dungeons too. like halls of atonement, when you jump down on the left to that hunter and stone giant thing, if the pet will run backwards and around…
is it normal for hunters to dismiss and resummon pets several times during M+ ?
yes. its very normal.
Yer, there are a few points you wana dismiss your pet. The important one is necrotic wake when you jump over the fallen pillar, and any skips that involve jumping on or around scenery.
You can also just mount, pet won’t pull anything if you’re mounted.
take a cat, something tha thas the ‘hiding’ ability, and you don t have to worry about it
